Welding process and product for inflatable product
A welding process of an inflatable product is provided that includes using isolating members between first and second portions of weldable tensioning members to resist the first and second portions of the weldable tensioning structures being welded together during welding of the first portions to a first sheet of weldable material and welding of the second portions to a second sheet of weldable material.
PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR FASTENING A FUNCTIONAL FLEXIBLE ELEMENT TO A FLEXIBLE SUPPORT BY ZIGZAG STITCHING
A process for attaching a functional flexible element on a flexible support without the use of adhesive composition. The process comprises a step of depositing a functional flexible element on a flexible support, a step of stitching along a zigzag line of at least one binding yarn on either side of the functional flexible element along the functional flexible element while retaining the functional flexible element on the flexible support. The first binding yarn(s) are stitched into the flexible support at stitching points to a depth of less than the thickness of the flexible support.
COMPRESSION COLLARS FOR COUPLING A TUBE TO A TUBE FITTING AND METHODS OF USE
A method for coupling a tube to a tube fitting includes radially outwardly expanding a tubular compression collar from a constricted state to an expanded state, the compression collar having a throughway extending there through and being made of a resiliently flexible material. An end of the tube is inserted within the throughway of the expanded compression collar, the tube bounding a passageway. A tube fitting is inserted within the passageway of the tube. The compression collar is allowed to resiliently rebound back towards the constricted state so that the compression collar pushes the tube against the tube fitting.
Fiber-reinforced resin joined body having caulked part and manufacturing method thereof
There is provided a fiber-reinforced resin joined body, including: a fiber-reinforced resin shaped product A containing reinforcing fibers and a thermoplastic resin, and including at least one a protrusion part with a buckling strength of 80 MPa to 450 MPa; and a member B including at least one through hole, wherein the protrusion part of the fiber-reinforced resin shaped product A is inserted into the through hole of the member B, and a caulked part is provided in a portion of the protrusion part, protruding from the through hole.
LOCALIZED PANEL STIFFENER
A device (10) comprising a carrier material (14) and a matrix material (12) deposited onto the carrier material in a pattern that leaves a predetermined amount of space (18) between each deposition of matrix material.
ASSEMBLY AND AN ASSEMBLING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a method for assembling members, at least one of which is provided with a polymer member, comprising steps of: deforming at least one portion of the polymer member; putting the deformed portion of the polymer member into a second member; heating the deformed portion for engaging the portion with the second member. Through the steps described above, the portion of the polymer member may be in interference-fit engagement with the second member, based on which, adhesive is no longer necessary for improving reliabilities of engagement therebetween.
Tabbed Seal Concepts
Tabbed sealing members with a robust tab structure having additional support under the tab and at a tab pivot or hinge joint.
Process for Sealing Flexible Fitment to Flexible Film
The present disclosure provides a process. In an embodiment, the process includes A. providing a fitment with a base, the base comprising an ethylene/-olefin multi-block copolymer; B. placing the base between two opposing multilayer films, each multilayer film having a respective seal layer comprising an olefin-based polymer; C. flat sealing the base to each multilayer film with opposing heated flat seal bars, the flat sealing forming opposing seal joints at the flattened base ends; and D. point sealing the opposing seal joints with opposing curved seal bars.
OPEN-CHANNEL STIFFENER
An open-channel stiffener for stiffening a panel has a bonding flange for bonding the stiffener to the panel through a bondline formed between the bonding flange and the panel to form a stiffened panel. The open-channel stiffener has a cross-sectional shape that aligns, or substantially aligns, a shear center of the stiffener with a centroid of the stiffener and aligns the shear center proximate an edge of the bondline, and removes the need for a radius filler noodle. A plurality of perforations may be formed through the bonding flange to permit an adhesive to wick into the perforations and create a mechanical interlock between the bonding flange and the panel.
Method for manufacturing vehicle window component and vehicle window component
A method for manufacturing a vehicle window component and a vehicle window component, wherein the method for manufacturing the vehicle window comprises: providing a vehicle window substrate and an elastic body; adhering the elastic body to a surface of the vehicle window substrate, wherein the surface is close to a lateral side of the vehicle window substrate; and implementing an injection molding process for forming an encapsulation, wherein the injection molding process is performed at an injection molding temperature lower than a melting temperature of the elastic body. The method for manufacturing a vehicle window component and the vehicle window component provided by the present disclosure may have no shrink mark.
