Disclosed is a high-speed soft capsule forming machine comprising: a sheet forming part for forming two gelatin sheets; a pair of die rolls for heat sealing the gelatin sheets and simultaneously forming the same into a capsule shape; a wedge positioned at the upper sides of the pair of die rolls, heating the gelatin sheets at a predetermined temperature, and having a plurality of nozzles, which are formed to be aligned therein, for receiving liquid medicine from a liquid medicine feeding part and respectively injecting the same between the gelatin sheets inserted into cavities of the pair of die rolls; and a controller for controlling the rotational speed of the die rolls, the temperature of the wedge, the rotational speed and temperature of a cooling drum, and the intervals of nozzle operations for injecting the liquid medicine according to the angle of the nozzles formed in the wedge with respect to the center of the die roll and a set number value of lines in which the nozzles are aligned.

The various embodiments herein provide an insulated container. The container comprises a body assembly and a lid assembly. The body assembly comprises of an outer plastic body and a plastic ring insert molded with an inner stainless steel (SS) container. The inner SS container has a non-woven polyester fabric acting as an insulation material. The non-woven polyester fabric is enclosed in between the outer plastic body and the inner SS container. The lid assembly comprises of a plastic top lid, an inner lid and a bowl with non-woven polyester fabric acting as insulation. The polyester fabric is sandwiched between the plastic top lid, the inner lid and the bowl. In the body assembly, the outer plastic body and the inner plastic ring is joined together using a spin welding technique. In the lid assembly the top lid, inner lid and bowl are joined together using spin welding technique.

A system and method for producing a disposable undergarment, with the lateral edges of the undergarment bonded by means of an ultrasonic horn. When a blank is formed for an individual undergarment, the lateral edges of opposing edges of the blank will form the seam. When the edges are sealed together, a seam is formed. The individual undergarments may be later separated along the seams.

The film sealing and wrapping machine with a rotary cut and seal jaw is provided. The rotary cut and seal jaw has an internal sliding mechanism which provides for smooth and quiet operation. The rotational speed of the jaw may be varied to increase through put and to provide for a title bag around products. The rotary cut and seal jaw may comprise a seal bar and pressure pad may both be spring loaded to self align the seal bar and pressure pad during the sealing and cutting process. Lastly, a gap defined by a belt disposed upstream and downstream of the seal bar and pressure pad may be mechanically linked to the pressure pad through a control carriage.

A system, apparatus, or method for joining components is provided. The system applies force along an axis, with a friction pin, to a first substrate, such as with a joiner or joining apparatus. The system also frictionally melts a portion of the first substrate adjacent the friction pin by rotating the friction pin about the axis at a first speed within the first substrate. The system also applies force to the second substrate along the axis and frictionally melts a portion of the second substrate adjacent the friction pin by rotating the friction pin at a second speed within the second substrate. The system embeds a portion of the friction pin within the first substrate and the second substrate. In some configurations, the first speed and the second speed are substantially equivalent. In other configurations, the first speed is different from the second speed.

A jaw assembly (10) that receives a tubular bag material (11) that is transversely sealed and transversely cut by the jaw assembly (10) to form bags 12 of snack food. The tubular bag material (11) is delivered in a downward direction (13). The jaw assembly (10) includes sealing jaws (27, 28), with the jaws (27, 28) operating in pairs to transversely seal the tubular bag material (11). Each of the jaws (27,28) has an end surface (29) that heats and engages the tubular bag material (11), to form the seal therein. Each surface (29) is spaced from its respective rotational axis by a radius (31). Most preferably the radius (31) is less than 85 mm, but greater than 65 mm.

A system for manufacturing a catheter includes at least first and second controllable rate material feeders that feed at least first and second materials into a temperature-controlled mixer to form a compound material that varies in flexibility and/or strength with the respective first and second materials and material feed rates. An extruder extrudes the compound material onto a rotating and translating mandrel to thereby form a variable stiffness profile along a length of the catheter that depends on respective rates of rotation and translation of the mandrel.

A system for checking a package body with an image is capable of automatically judging good or bad product of manufactured package bodies and automatically performing change of production conditions in a filling and packaging machine, and includes a filling and packaging machine, an image data judgement system, a storage device and an image data analysis system, wherein the image data judgement system is provided with an imaging device for shooting a package body, a storage unit for storing judgement condition on good or bad package body, a judgement unit for judging good or bad package body and an image data transmission unit for transmitting the image data shot by the imaging device to the storage device.

A packaging assembly (10) including a weighing machine (11) that includes buckets (12, 13) to provide batches of product to be delivered to a former (41), with the former (41) delivering tubular bag material with product to a packaging machine (18). The tubular bag material is delivered to the packaging machine (18) by means of a film drive assembly (17).

Sounds are generated by an aerial vehicle during operation. For example, the motors and propellers of an aerial vehicle generate sounds during operation. Disclosed are systems, methods, and apparatus for actively adjusting the shape of a propeller blade of an aerial vehicle during operation of the aerial vehicle. For example, the propeller blade may have one or more joints that adjust to alter the shape of the propeller blade. The altered shape of the propeller blade causes the propeller to generate different frequencies of sound as it rotates. By altering multiple propeller blades of the aerial vehicle, the different sounds generated by the different propeller blades may effectively cancel or reduce the total sound generated by the aerial vehicle, and/or alter the total frequency generated.
