Control method and control device for injection molding machine
A molding injection pressure Pi with which a parting opening Lm is formed between a movable mold 2m and a fixed mold 2c during injection-filling and which allows formation of a good molded article is obtained and set in advance. A molding clamping force Pc that allows formation of a good molded article is obtained and set in advance. During production, a mold clamping device Mc is clamped with the molding clamping force Pc, and an injection device Mi to apply the molding injection pressure Pi as a limit pressure Ps is driven to injection-fill a mold 2 with resin R. A parting opening detector 3 that detects the parting opening Lm is provided. During production, reset control is executed to reset the parting opening detector 3 to zero if reset timing tr set in advance has come at least on condition that given preparation for injection is completed after clamping. The reset timing is set in a range covering a given period Zs before injection start time and the given period Zs after the injection start time.
Molding machine and driving method thereof
A molding machine includes; a fixed platen capable of having a fixed mold attached thereto; a moving platen capable of having a moving mold attached thereto; a mold clamping mechanism clamping the moving mold and the fixed mold with each other by moving the moving mold; a driving unit operating the mold clamping mechanism; and a control unit controlling the driving unit, wherein the control unit compensates an operation loss of the driving unit occurring from an operation start of the driving unit to an operation start of the moving mold to set the moving mold at a desired position.
Open-face molding
An open-face molding apparatus for use in open-face injection molding operations to more accurately control the thickness of coatings applied to workpiece surfaces of slightly varying contour profiles. A conformable tool face is carried by a rigid tool backing and a perimeter seal releasably seals the conformable tool face around its perimeter to the workpiece surface. The conformable tool face and perimeter seal define a mold cavity together with the workpiece surface. An array of actuators are connected between the rigid tool backing and the conformable tool face to provide a desired tool face contour and desired spacings between the conformable tool face and a workpiece surface by deflecting the conformable tool face relative to the rigid tool backing.
MAGNETIC CLAMPING APPARATUS AND INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS
A magnetic clamping apparatus can be switched, by a reversal of a polarity of a first magnet, between an unclamping state in which a first mold is not clamped on an attraction face of a first magnetic plate 6 and a clamping state in which it is clamped on the attraction face. If a first operation is performed with respect to the magnetic clamping apparatus, a clamping operation of switching from the unclamping state into the clamping state is performed on condition that a proximity sensor is detecting proximity of the first mold. If a second operation that is different from the first operation is performed, the clamping operation is performed on condition that the proximity sensor is not detecting the proximity of the first mold.
INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE INCLUDING MOLD ROTATING DEVICE
A first rotation controller that rotates a rotary table by feedback control based on a rotation amount detected by a rotation amount detection unit and a second rotation controller that rotates the rotary table by the feedback control based on a distance detected by a distance detection unit are included and rotation control by the first rotation controller is switched to that by the second rotation controller at a predetermined rotation angle.
DRIVE DEVICE FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE
A drive device includes an output for an injection piston of an injection device to be acted upon to generate an injection force, a hydraulic drive mechanically connected to the output for the injection piston, and an electric drive. The electric drive is mechanically connected to the output for the injection piston via the hydraulic drive, so that the drive force generated by the electric drive can be transmitted together with the drive force generated by the hydraulic drive via the hydraulic drive to the output for actuating the injection piston. The electric drive is at least partially integrated into the hydraulic drive, and has an electric motor and a coupling device. The coupling device of the electric drive is arranged completely in a cylinder of the hydraulic drive.
Injection mold apparatus for pressure vessel
An injection mold apparatus of a pressure vessel includes an upper mold including an internal surface in a shape corresponding to a shape of an external surface of the pressure vessel provided with a nozzle with a closed inlet; a lower mold including an external surface in a shape corresponding to the shape of the internal surface of the pressure vessel, engaged with the upper mold, and formed with an air injection passage therein; an ejector injecting air through the air injection passage between the lower mold and the taken-out pressure vessel; an air injection rate setting device configured for controlling an injection rate of the air injected between the lower mold and the pressure vessel using the ejector; and a pneumatic controller interlocking with the air injection rate setting device and controlling a pressure of air injected.
