Molding system for preparing molding article
The present disclosure provides a molding system for preparing molding articles. The molding system includes a molding machine; a mold disposed on the molding machine and having a mold cavity for being filled with a molding resin; a processing module configured to generate a mechanical pressure distribution of the molding resin in the mold cavity based on a molding condition for the molding machine, wherein the mechanical pressure distribution of the molding resin is generated based in part on a bulk viscosity effect of the molding resin; and a controller operably communicating with the processing module and configured to operate the molding machine for transferring the fluid molding material into the mold cavity with the molding condition using the generated pressure distribution of the molding resin to perform an actual molding process for preparing the molding article.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MACHINE FOR PROCESSING PLASTICS
The invention relates to a method that serves to control a machine (10) for processing plastics and other plasticisable materials such as powdered and/or ceramic substances. The machine has a mould opening and closing unit (12) for opening and closing an injection mould (14) having at least one mould cavity (16) for producing an injection moulded part (18) corresponding to the shape of the mould cavity (16), an injection moulding unit (20) having means for plasticising and for injection of the plasticisable material in the mould cavity (16) and has a machine control (22) which is connected to an expert knowledge source (34) and if required can be operated by the operator by means of an interactive contact. Information concerning the geometry of the injection moulded part (18) and/or the mould cavity (16) and the sprue geometry (24) are provided to the machine control (22), in order to calculate at least one injection process taking the geometric information into consideration. Because an injection process is calculated, taking into consideration the geometric information, at least one progressive volume growth profile of the injection moulded part (18) in the filling direction of the mould cavity (16) is calculated, and taking into consideration the progressive volume growth profile at least one injection process is calculated, a simplified, fast and effective parameterisation of the injection moulding machine is made possible, the operator is relieved by the implemented expert knowledge and the quality of the injection moulded part (18) is improved.
METHOD FOR DERIVING BULK VISCOSITY OF MOLDING MATERIAL
The present disclosure provides a method for deriving a bulk viscosity of a molding material. The method includes a step of deriving a plurality of parameters in relation to pressures, specific volumes and temperatures (PVT) of the molding material under a plurality of cooling rates and a plurality of mechanical pressures; deriving an equilibrium pressure based on the plurality of parameters obtained from a first slowest cooling rate among the plurality of cooling rates; deriving a rate of volume change of the molding material; and obtaining the bulk viscosity of the molding material based on the rate of volume change.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING A VALUE FOR THE DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPRESSION OF A MOLDABLE MATERIAL
In a method for determining at least one parameter for the description of the compression behavior of a material processed in a molding machine, at least a part of the processed material is introduced into a mold cavity via a distribution system and a gate, and the processed material solidifies in the mold cavity. A compression test is performed in which a volume storing the material is modified and a measurement of the resulting pressure modification is conducted or a pressure applied onto the material is modified and a measurement of the resulting modification of the volume is conducted. A parameter for the description of the compression behavior is calculated based on the result of the compression test by using a mathematical model. The compression test is conducted when the gate is at least substantially solidified or when the hot runner is closed.
Method for determining a value for the description of the compression of a moldable material

A conveying device for conveying a viscous material from a container includes a follower plate that can be inserted into the container, and a pump by means of which the viscous material can be conveyed through the follower plate. Moreover, a measuring chamber for accommodation of a measuring sample of the viscous material is provided. The measuring chamber includes a closable material inlet opening for this purpose. A closable disposal line leads away from the measuring chamber. Moreover, a closable material return line extends from the measuring chamber via the follower plate into the container. The conveying device also includes a controller that is designed and can be operated appropriately such that it determines the compressibility of each of multiple measuring samples. The controller opens the disposal line or the material return line to the measuring sample present in the measuring chamber as a function of the compressibility thus determined.
Real Time Material and Velocity Control in a Molding System
A system includes a cavity, an injection nozzle configured to inject material into the cavity, and a plurality of sensors at sensor locations. Each of the plurality of sensors is configured to measure parameters at one of the sensor locations. The system lacks a strain gauge. The system further includes a controller configured to control a flow rate of the injection of material into the cavity. The controller is configured to receive the measured parameters and compare the received information to predetermined curves. The controller is configured to control the flow rate when the measured parameters deviate from the predetermined curves.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING AN ACTUAL VOLUME OF AN INJECTION MOLDABLE COMPOUND IN AN INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS
A method for determining an actual volume Vr of an injection-moldable compound during an injection-molding process is disclosed. The injection-moldable compound is introduced into at least one cavity of the mould. The method includes the steps of: a) determining a theoretical volume Vt from process variables at least during a filling phase of the injection-molding process, b) determining and/or measuring at least one value for at least one compound pressure pM, c) selecting a material-specific compression k (p), corresponding to the value of pM, of the injection-moldable compound, and d) calculating an actual volume Vr by taking into account the compression k (p).

Provided is an injection molding machine management system that includes an injection molding machine and manages one or a plurality of injection molding units that produce a molded article. The injection molding machine management system includes a display unit configured to display a display screen on which operation information on an operation status of the injection molding unit and at least one of container shortage information on a shortage of a container that accommodates the molded article and material shortage information on a shortage of a material for molding the molded article are displayed on an injection molding unit basis. The container shortage information is displayed on the display screen in association with the operation information when the container is insufficient in the injection molding unit, and the material shortage information is displayed on the display screen in association with the operation information when the material is insufficient in the injection molding unit.
