A controller includes a mold movement control unit that moves a movable mold between a first position separated from a fixed mold and a second position at which mold closing is completed; a determining unit determines the presence of abnormalities in at least one of the movable mold and the fixed mold on the basis of inspection information acquired from at least one of the movable mold and the fixed mold and outputs a confirmation signal related to the presence of abnormalities; and a mold stopping unit that stops movement of the movable mold on the basis of whether the confirmation signal output from the determining unit is acquired while a safety confirmation condition is satisfied after the mold movement control unit starts moving the movable mold from the first position toward the second position.
Monitoring apparatus and method
A monitoring apparatus for molds includes a control unit connectable to a first and second sensor associable with the mold and configured for emitting respective signals representative of a deformation parameter and temperature parameter of the mold. The control unit, in order to define an alert condition, is configured for: defining a value of a threshold parameter as a function of the temperature of the mold and comparing such value of the deformation parameter with a value of a threshold parameter defined as a function of the temperature of the mold; or normalizing, at a reference temperature, the value of the deformation parameter determined at the temperature of the mold and comparing a value of a threshold parameter, defined at the reference temperature, with the value of the normalized deformation parameter at the same reference temperature. An injection molding system includes an extruding system, a discharging channel, a molding device including a first and second mold cavities, and a pressure regulating system regulates pressures inside the first and second mold cavities. An injection molding method includes providing a molding device having a first and second mold cavities, a first feeding port in communication with the first mold cavity, and a second feeding port in communication with the second mold cavity; sensing a first pressure in the first mold cavity, and injecting a first gas into the first mold cavity until the first mold cavity is sensed to have a first predetermined pressure; and sensing a second pressure in the second mold cavity, and injecting a second gas into the second mold cavity until the second mold cavity is sensed to have a second predetermined pressure, wherein the first and second predetermined pressures are different.

A coinjection molded multi-layer container includes an inner layer, an outer layer, and a barrier layer. The inner layer includes a first polymeric material and forms an inside surface of the container. The outer layer includes the first polymeric material and forms an outside surface of the container. The barrier layer is located between the inner layer and the outer layer and includes a second polymeric material less permeable to gas than the first polymeric material. The barrier layer is biased toward the inside surface or the outside surface such that the inner layer and the outer layer have different thicknesses.
METHOD FOR SETTING UP A MOLDING SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a method for operating a molding system. The molding system includes a molding machine and a mold disposed on the molding machine, wherein the mold has a mold cavity for being filled with a molding material from the molding machine. The method comprises a step of obtaining a predetermined state waveform expressing a predetermined volumetric variation of the molding material. Next, the method further comprises obtaining a measured pressure and a measured temperature of the molding material in the mold cavity while performing a molding process for filling the molding material into the mold cavity. Next, the method includes obtaining a detected volumetric property of the molding material corresponding to the measured pressure and the measured temperature. Subsequently, the method comprises displaying the detected volumetric property of the molding material with the predetermined state waveform.

In the taking-out step, while the lead frame is taken out, the main surfaces of the molds are inspected by using a sensor, and the sensor is cooled and formed integrally with an arm used for taking out the lead frame.
