PET PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed are a system and method tuning PET raw material processing process by employing real time process management and machine learning steps and reactive addition of dosing of homogenizing composition for impregnating chain extenders and compatibilizing agents in thermoplastic resin using the liquid additive as a carrier into the process for modifying material performance. The properties of PET blend are no longer fixed once dry-blending and melting is complete.
Plasticizing device, injection molding apparatus, and three-dimensional shaping apparatus
A plasticizing device includes a passage defining section that is coupled to a hopper which stores a material and that defines a supply passage to which the material is supplied from the hopper, a plasticizing section that includes an introduction portion which communicates with the supply passage, and a screw, and that plasticizes the material supplied from the introduction portion by rotation of the screw to form a molten material, and a material detection section that detects the presence or absence of the material in the supply passage.
INJECTION MOLDING SYSTEM
The present application relates to an injection molding system, comprising: an input condition storage section 23 to store an input plasticization condition; an ideal plasticization state storage section 24 to store information of an ideal state of plasticization; an input condition simulation section 29 for the plasticization condition based on data stored in the input condition storage section 23; a comparison section 25 to compare the information stored in the ideal plasticization state storage section 24; an optimal condition analysis and calculation section 26 to calculate the optimal plasticization condition when the data stored in the input condition storage section 23 is decided not to be the ideal state of plasticization by the comparison section 25 using the data of the input condition storage section 23 and the information stored in the ideal plasticization state storage section 24; and a condition change indicating section 28 to display information necessary to make a change to the optimal plasticization condition on a display section 22 based on a result of calculation by the optimal condition determination section 26.
Remote Controller for Controlling Apparatus by Diverting Feedback Signal from Native Controller to the Remote Controller and Methods for Same
A remote controller can be provided on any apparatus that employs feedback control from a native controller to add functionality to the apparatus where the native controller is not capable of providing such functionality independently.

INJECTION MOLDING DEVICE
An injection molding device includes a housing having a door, an injection molding machine, a detection section, and a control section. The control section controls voltage applied to the mold clamping motor, and performs mold-clamping and mold-opening of the upper mold and the lower mold by either moving the injection unit and the upper mold along the vertical direction or by moving the lower mold along the vertical direction. The mold clamping device further includes a first brake section that, when application of voltage to the mold clamping motor is stopped, regulates movement of the injection unit and the upper mold in the vertical direction or movement of the lower mold in the vertical direction. When the detection section detects that the door is open or detects intrusion of foreign matter, the control section stops application of voltage to the mold clamping motor.
Pressure controller for injection molding machine
A pressure controller for an injection molding machine capable of reducing variations of pressure in a mold in molding cycles and providing molded articles of stable quality is provided. The pressure controller includes an in-mold pressure estimation unit for estimating a pressure in the mold based on an injection pressure detected with an injection pressure detection unit, and an amount of movement of a screw detected with a screw movement amount detection unit, and an in-mold pressure control unit for controlling such that the estimated in-mold pressure becomes a set in-mold pressure after the pressure control is performed in a dwell step with an injection pressure control unit.
Nozzle shut off for injection molding system
An injection molding apparatus and method of fabricating a molded part are provided. The apparatus may include a barrel, a nozzle enclosing an end of the barrel and defining an opening in fluid communication with an inside of the barrel, and an extrusion screw positioned at least partially inside the barrel and rotatable relative to the barrel. The extrusion screw may include a screw tip. Relative axial movement between the barrel and the extrusion screw may open or close the opening of the nozzle to permit or prevent, respectively, material flow through the opening of the nozzle. The method may include clamping a mold, opening a nozzle, rotating the extrusion screw to pump a molten material into the mold until the mold is filled, closing the nozzle, and unclamping the mold to release a molded part.
Injection molding machine and method for injection molding
An injection molding machine having vent mechanism includes a plastication device, an injection device, a junction, a vent-up sensor, and a controller. The vent-up sensor detects vent-up. When the vent-up is detected, the controller switches from normal conditions to vent-up suppression conditions. The vent-up suppression conditions have at least one of the followings: increasing a rotational speed of the plastication screw to be higher than that in the normal conditions; using retreat-metering when the retreat-metering is not performed in the normal conditions, wherein in the retreat-metering, in addition to a pressure of the resin material, a force in a retreat direction is applied to the injection plunger to move the injection plunger at a predetermined retreat speed in the metering; and increasing the retreat speed of the injection plunger to be higher than that in the normal conditions when the retreat-metering is performed in the normal conditions.
Control method for injection moulding
A control method for an injection moulding system having an extruder, feeding material continuously to an accumulator, portioning material intermittently to an injection device, wherein the control method is configured to drive the extruder at a high speed or at a low speed respectively, the high speed and the low speed defining an extruder speed interval, the method comprising acquiring a value for an actual positional change for the accumulator (POS.sub.ACT), comparing the value for the actual positional change (POS.sub.ACT) with a predicted value for the positional change (POS.sub.PRED), and adjusting a speed of the extruder based on a result of the comparison.
