An extrusion head and a method for producing an elongated hollow body as an extrudate of an extrusion of extrusion material are provided. The extrusion head includes: a housing; a mandrel mounted in the housing, and a mouthpiece arranged downstream of the mandrel in a direction of extrusion. The extrusion material can flow around the mandrel in the direction of extrusion of the extrusion head. The mandrel includes an end-side mouthpiece section arranged in an opening of the mouthpiece so as to form a circumferential gap between the end-side mouthpiece section and an opening in the mouthpiece, and the mandrel is pivotable about at least one axis transverse to the direction of extrusion to change a geometry of the circumferential gap.
AUTOMATED MAPPING SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING PARAMETERS OF POLYMERIC MELT
A system for controlling parameters of polymeric film includes an extruder and a die which has a gap. A plurality of regulators are positioned along the die for regulating the gap. A cooling cylinder is located downstream of the die and a polymeric melt extends from the die to the cooling cylinder. An applicator device for creating a tracking lane in the polymeric melt is located proximate the gap. A sensor system is located downstream from the gap in a measuring location. The sensor system locates a transverse point for the respective tracking lane in the polymeric film at the measuring location. The sensor system is in communication with the regulators to adjust the gap based on a correlation of tracking lane position at origin point and transverse point at the measuring location.
RESIN-FILM MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND ITS CONTROL METHOD
In a resin-film manufacturing apparatus of an embodiment, when a lip gap control is started, a difference between a state of a target heat bolt (THB) at a start of current control and a state of each of all the heat bolts at a start of last control is obtained, when the difference between the states of THB at the starts of the current and last control is a smallest one, a learning result of THB is set as an initial value of a control condition for THB, and when the difference between the states of THB is not the smallest one, either one of a learning result of the heat bolt of which the difference between the states is smaller than the difference between the states of THB and the learning result of THB is set as the initial value of the control condition for THB.
Method for Switching the Production of a Flat Film Machine from a Feed Product to a Follow-On Product
The invention relates to a method for switching the production of a flat film machine (100) from a feed product (EP) to a follow-on product (FP), comprising the following steps: recognizing a switching request for a switch from the feed product (EP) to the follow-on product (FP), determining a current feed control value (ES) of at least one control variable (SG) of the flat film machine (100) for the feed product (EP), determining a follow-on control value (FS) of the same at least one control variable (SG) for the follow-on product (FP), generating a control signal (SS) for a defined variation of the at least one control variable (SG) of the flat film machine (100) from the feed control value (ES) to the follow-on control value (FS).
