A plastic container includes a lower supporting base portion; a sidewall portion extending upwardly from the base portion; and a neck portion extending upwardly from the sidewall portion. The neck portion includes a tamper-evident formation, threads, and a dispensing opening at the top of the neck portion. In embodiments, a closure may be provided to form an assembly. In an embodiment, the weight of the neck portion is 2.3 grams or less; a vertical distance from the lower surface of the tamper-evident formation to a top of the dispensing opening is 0.30 or less; and/or the container may be filled with a beverage. In embodiments, the volume of the container may be at least 500 ml. A preform and method for making a container are also disclosed.

A plastic intermediate article including a container portion and a trim portion. The container portion includes a neck portion having a plurality of threads. In embodiments, each of the plurality of threads include a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is provided at a first angle relative to a centerline of the plastic blow molded intermediate article, the second portion is provided at a second angle relative to the centerline of the plastic blow molded intermediate article, and the first angle and second angle are different. A method for making a plastic container includes providing a plastic preform, blow molding the preform into an intermediate article that includes a neck portion with a plurality of blown threads, and removing an upper portion of the intermediate article.

A method for forming a container from a high-density polyethylene preform by one-step or two-step injection stretch blow molding. The method includes inserting the preform in a mold. The preform has a preform axial length. The method further includes blow-molding the preform into the mold to form the container, including stretching the preform to form the container with a container axial length that is 2.5-5 times greater than the preform axial length.

An aerosol container suitable for use as an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container includes at least a valve and product delivery device joined to an outer container. The valve and product delivery device have respective annular welds or other seals joining the valve and product delivery to the outer container. The welds, or other seals may be concentric, with one circumscribing the other, in the same plane or different planes. Suitable product delivery devices include bags and dip tubes.

An aerosol container suitable for use as an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container includes at least a valve and product delivery device joined to an outer container. The valve and product delivery device have respective annular welds or other seals joining the valve and product delivery to the outer container.
