20180250900 · 2018-09-06 ·

A tire vulcanization bladder assembly is manufactured by placing a first ring part on a base stage installed on leg parts in a periphery of a first end opening of a bladder; sandwiching a first clamp part of the bladder, the bladder being in an upright position with the first clamp part on a lower side and a second clamp part located in a periphery of a second end opening of the bladder on an upper side, by the first ring part, thereby attaching the first ring part to the bladder; inserting an inside ring member of a second ring part into the bladder from above on an inside ring member of the first ring part; moving the inside ring member of the second ring part upward relative to the bladder to a position of the second clamp part; and attaching the second ring part to the second clamp part.

Protective structure for a retreaded air maintenance tire

A method in accordance with the present invention retreads an air maintenance tire. The method comprises the steps of: grinding remaining tread material from a tire casing for a worn air-maintenance tire; temporarily securing a contoured piece around a structure secured to the inner surface of the tire casing; placing a tread on the tire casing; inflating a bladder within an internal cavity of the tire casing and around the contoured piece whereby the bladder does not contact the structure; securing the tread to the tire casing; deflating the bladder; separating the tire casing and tread secured to the tire casing from the bladder; and removing the contoured piece from the tire casing.

Vulcanization device for pneumatic tire and method for vulcanizing pneumatic tire
09987812 · 2018-06-05 · ·

Provided are a vulcanization device for a pneumatic tire and a method for vulcanizing a pneumatic tire. A pressurizing medium having a relatively low pressure is supplied through a pressurizing medium low-pressurization/supply line into a vulcanization bladder having a tube-like shape inserted into a green tire in a vulcanization mold to inflate the vulcanization bladder. Thereafter, a heating medium is supplied through a heating medium supply line into the vulcanization bladder (2). Then, a pressurizing medium having a relatively high pressure is supplied through a pressurizing medium supply line into the vulcanization bladder to increase internal pressure of the vulcanization bladder while the media in the vulcanization bladder are circulated through a circulation line extending outside the vulcanization bladder, thereby vulcanizing the green tire.

Evaluation device and method for monitoring a vulcanization process of a vehicle tire in a tire heating press, wherein at least one sensor value and/or at least one control variable of the tire heating press is acquired, where the sensor value and/or the control variable is fed to an evaluation device that includes an ML model, and the evaluation device and/or the ML model outputs a warning notification when an evaluation of the at least one sensor value and/or the at least one control variable by the evaluation device reveals that there is a defect or an anomaly with the tire heating press or at least part of the tire heating press, or that there will be a defect or an anomaly with the tire heating press or at least part of the tire heating press in the foreseeable future.

CONFIGURATION APPLIED TO ENVELOPE FOR TiRE RETREADING

The invention proposes a configuration applied to envelope for tire retreading in a cold retreading process. In the state of the art, envelopes consisting of two parts are known. However, the known methods of sealing among the pieces are not satisfactory either due to sealing problems, or by reducing the useful life of the envelope. In order to overcome these limitations, the invention proposes an envelope (20) comprising three parts (22, 24, 26), in which a flap (224) of the first part (22) presents a free end with a differentiated cross-section (224b), in which a flap (244) of the second part (24) has a free end with a differentiated cross-section (244b) and in which the third part (26) presents a shape of an elastic ring with enough width to cover the differentiated cross-section (224b) of the flap (224) of the first part (22) and the differentiated cross-section (244b) of the flap (244) of the second part (24).
