KITCHEN PAPER ROLL AND KITCHEN PAPER
A kitchen paper roll includes a kitchen paper that is formed by joining two sheets in a nested manner and is wound to form the kitchen paper roll. Each of the sheets includes an embossed region. The density of embossed protrusions on each of the sheets is greater than or equal to 0.075/mm.sup.2 and less than or equal to 0.2/mm.sup.2, the winding density of the kitchen paper is greater than or equal to 0.12 m/cm.sup.2 and less than or equal to 0.27 m/cm.sup.2, and the ratio of a minimum embossment area to a maximum embossment area in the kitchen paper is greater than or equal to 0.51.
PROCESS FOR MAKING A MULTI-PLY DISPERSIBLE WIPE
A process for making a multi-ply dispersible wipe includes providing a first web and a second web, each web comprising cellulose fibers; superposing the first web over the second web; applying an aqueous solution to at least the first web; after the aqueous solution is applied to the first web, crimping the second web to the first web to create a composite web; cutting or perforating the composite web to define a plurality of multi-ply wet wipes; and packaging the composite web/wet wipes into a package.
TOILET PAPER
Toilet paper includes at least two sheets on which embossments are formed and that are joined together in a nested manner. The area of a top part of an embossed protrusion of each of the embossments is between 0.8 mm.sup.2 and 1.5 mm.sup.2, and the area percentage of top parts of embossed protrusions of the embossments is between 5% and 10%.
FLIP-CLOSURE COSMETIC-PRODUCT PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
Disclosed is a cosmetic-product packaging, wherein the cosmetic-product packaging is manufactured to be an elongate packaging with a plurality of planar side panels, a first end panel and a second end panel; the second end panel is implemented as a lid that is pivotally attached to at least a first planar side panel of the plurality of planar side panels, wherein the lid includes a distal hand-digit-slidable flap panel that is tuckable into a retaining slot formed on at least a second planar side panel of the plurality of planar side panels; and the elongate packaging surrounds an internal region thereof for accommodating one or more cosmetic products that are user-accessible when the distal hand-digit-slidable flap panel is hand-digit-slid out of the retaining slot to pivot the lid into an open state.
LAMINATED MULTI-PLY TISSUE PRODUCTS WITH IMPROVED SOFTNESS AND PLY BONDING
Products having improved ply bonding, moldability and drape and methods for making those products are described. The methods comprise producing a multiply adhesively bonded product comprising a pattern of uniformly spaced microembossed elements with a bond area of less than about 0.020 inches/sq. inch.
FILMS AND BAGS HAVING LOW-FORCE EXTENSION PATTERNS
A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a low force extension.
FILMS AND BAGS WITH BILLOW POCKETS FOR CAPTURING LIQUIDS
A multiple-ply thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The complex pattern, when stretched or elongated and then released, can cause areas of billowing and delamination between plies of the multiple-ply thermoplastic film. The resulting billowed and delaminated areas form billow pockets for capturing liquids that can capture liquids when one of the plies is punctured.
Pressing roller for the processing of web paper material
A pressing roller (10) for the processing of web paper material, in particular of the type used in cooperation with an engraving roller (G1) for the bonding of two or more embossed plies of web paper material, comprises a cylindrical pressure surface (11) defined by a plurality of annular resilient pressure bodies (15) of rubber material that have a high surface hardness which allows to avoid the effect of double embossing and at the same time have a high elastic yielding which allows to obtain adequate nip also with relatively low contact pressures.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE SHEET
A method for manufacturing a composite sheet includes a first step of, in a state that a curved part of a first sheet whose one surface rises and whose another surface is recessed and that a second sheet is overlaid on the first sheet, revolving a first roller to convey the first sheet and the second sheet; a second step of passing the sheets between the first roller and a second roller revolving so that a pressing part protruding outward in the radial direction from the outer peripheral surface of the second roller is inserted into the recess of the first roller; forming, in a region within the second sheet opposing the curved part, a protruding part which is surrounded by a flat part; and a third step of joining a boundary part of the first sheet to the second sheet.
Embossing device and method
An embossing device (1) includes three embossing rollers (5, 7, 9), each co-acting with a pressure roller (11, 15, 19), to emboss a plurality of paper plies (V1, V2, V3). Two embossing rollers can be easily interchanged to switch from a nested configuration to a tip-to-tip configuration, or to switch from one type of pattern to another. A lamination roller and a glue dispenser are arranged around one of the embossing rollers.
