Encapsulated fragile insulation materials
A composite board comprising (i) a first foam region; (ii) at least one fragile insulating material; and (iii) a second foam region, where said second foam region is substantially devoid of hydrocarbons.
BUFFER MATERIAL
A buffer material is a material including a buffer sheet that contains cellulose fibers and a binding material binding the cellulose fibers and has a sheet shape, and a nonwoven fabric sheet that is provided on at least one surface side of the buffer sheet and is formed of nonwoven fabric, in which the cellulose fibers are aligned in a direction intersecting a thickness direction of the buffer sheet, and the alignment direction of the cellulose fibers is along a direction in which an external force is received.
Composite Sound-Absorbing Material
Provided is a composite sound-absorbing material that can exhibit sound absorption properties in a broad range of low frequencies, intermediate frequencies, and high frequencies even in a low-basis-weight region having low thickness. The composite sound-absorbing material according to the present invention is configured from two or more layers including a base material and a skin material, the skin material being positioned on the outermost layer, wherein the composite sound-absorbing material is characterized in that the ratio (skin material:base material) of the surface area (m.sup.2/m.sup.2) per unit area of the skin material and the surface area (m.sup.2/m.sup.2) per unit area of the base material is at least 1:5 and less than 1:40.
BUFFER MATERIAL
A buffer material is a material including a buffer sheet that contains cellulose fibers and a binding material binding the cellulose fibers and has a sheet shape, and a nonwoven fabric sheet that is provided on at least one surface side of the buffer sheet and is formed of nonwoven fabric. Further, a thickness T2 of the nonwoven fabric sheet is 5% or greater and 90% or less of a thickness Tl of the buffer sheet. Further, a basis weight of fibers in the nonwoven fabric sheet is less than a basis weight of the cellulose fibers in the buffer sheet.
DUCT WRAP INSULATION
An insulation product includes a first layer of a fibrous insulating material, a second layer of a facing material attached to a first surface of the first layer, and a third layer of a slip sheet material and/or a lubricant attached to a second surface of the first layer. The first surface and the second surface are on opposite sides of the first layer and are parallel to one another. For certain applications, the insulation product may include a layer of a slip sheet material and/or lubricant attached to the first surface of the first layer instead of the second layer of a facing material.
Cost-effective and eco-friendly composite product with robust impact strength
A composite product substantially reduced the impact force imposed by hard impactor which travelled at the speed in the range of 400 m/s to 1400 m/s simultaneously damping the vibrations and shocks appeared therein is disclosed. At the same time it is light weight with the weight lower than that of 22 to 38 kg/m2and is flexible to adopt the shape suitable for the end applications. A method of manufacturing the composite product of the invention is also disclosed.
AUTOMOTIVE TRIM PART WITH VIBRATION DAMPING PROPERTIES
Automotive noise attenuating trim part comprising at least a porous layer whereby the porous layer comprises at least one closed container partly filled with loose particles, whereby the closed container comprises a contact surface formed by a film for contacting a vibrating surface of the vehicle and whereby the surface of the film opposite the contact surface is in contact with at least part of the loose particles, such that the film can transfer vibrational energy from the vibrating surface to the loose particles inside the container.
METHOD OF FORMING A LINEAR PANEL FROM MULTI-LAYER PANEL MATERIAL ASSEMBLIES
In one aspect of the present subject matter, a method of forming a linear panel includes drawing a multi-layer panel material assembly having differing inner and outer material layers along a processing path. The method also includes heating the panel material assembly. In addition, the method includes forming the heated panel material assembly into a desired shape as the assembly is drawn along the processing path. Additionally, in another aspect of the present subject matter, a linear panel includes a body formed from a multi-layer panel material assembly having differing inner and outer material layers.
INSULATION PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a method of making an insulation product and a novel insulation product, wherein the insulation product is made by adhering a facing to at least one major surface of a batt of man-made vitreous fibres in a matrix comprising a binder by the use of an adhesive and curing the adhesive. The adhesive is an aqueous composition which comprises a component (i) in form of one or more oxidized lignins; a component (ii) in form of one or more cross-linkers; a component (iii) in form of one or more plasticizers.
NANOMESH MULTILAYER BODY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONDUCTIVE CIRCUIT AND NANOMESH BONDING KIT
The present invention aims to provide a nanomesh laminate with which a conductive nanomesh material can be easily placed on a desired site and which is less likely to undergo distortion upon attachment. The object is achieved with a nanomesh laminate including: a mesh-shaped base material (A); and a nanomesh layer (B) containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin as a main component; the mesh-shaped base material (A) and the nanomesh layer (B) being layered next to each other, preferably achieved with a nanomesh laminate including: a nanomesh layer (B) containing polyvinyl alcohol as a main component; and a conductive substance layer (C); on a mesh-shaped base material (A).
