Apparatus for reticulation of adhesive and methods of use thereof
A method, apparatus, and system for reticulating an adhesive on a workpiece. The workpiece may be perforated with a plurality of passages that extend through a first side to a second side. To reticulate an adhesive on the first side of a workpiece, a flow of heated fluid is provided through a nozzle. The nozzle provides the fluid at a first pressure to a first group of the perforations. Once the temperature at the first side of the workpiece reaches a specified range, the fluid pressure may be increased or otherwise set in order to clear the perforations by forcing the adhesive out of or away from each of the perforations. Temperature of the adhesive, pressure within the nozzle, and/or light passage through the perforations may be monitored for logical control or quality assurance.
METHOD FOR BONDING, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF INK LAYER FORMED BODY, AND INK LAYER FORMED BODY
Provided is a method for favorable bonding between an adherend and an adhesive body, which is capable of suppressing an ink layer, which is formed by an ultraviolet-curable ink, from being smudged while increasing convenience of a bonding operation between the adherend and the adhesive body, and the like. The method for bonding a medium to a foil body includes an ink layer formation process of spotting an ultraviolet-curable ink, which is ejected from an inkjet head, to a medium and irradiating ultraviolet ray to the ultraviolet-curable ink to cure the same, thereby forming an ink layer; a lamination process of laminating the medium and a foil body with the ink layer being sandwiched therebetween; and a bonding process of heating the ink layer, enabling the ink layer to function as an adhesive, and bonding the medium to the foil body.
WATERPROOF CLEANING FABRIC FOR DAILY USE AND COMPOSITE PRODUCTION PROCESS THEREFOR
A waterproof cleaning fabric for daily use includes a fabric layer, a middle layer and a waterproof layer. At least one fabric layer and at least one middle layer are provided, and the middle layer is disposed between the fabric layer and the waterproof layer; the middle layer is made of 100% reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive which is in a solid state at room temperature, and the thermal resistance is greater than 140° C. According to the waterproof cleaning fabric for daily use and a composite production process therefor, a source generated by “waste gas” is fundamentally eradicated to achieve an entire composite production process that is waste gas-free, hot gas-free and noise-free. A high degree of environmental friendliness of said process is guaranteed, while the reduction of composite production costs is promoted, and the quality of the product is overall improved.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVES INCLUDING EXPANDABLE GRAPHITE
A building material comprising a substrate layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes expandable graphite.
Performance enhancements for glass materials
Methods of manufacturing a layered glass element and various components of a layered class element, such as a pre-form assembly and a woven panel, are disclosed herein. These methods include the step of supplying a woven panel having a plurality of elongated strands woven into an open weave to define a first porous surface opposite of a second porous surface. A layer of interlayer material is applied to the first and second porous surfaces to encapsulate at least a portion of the woven panel within the interlayer material. These elements may be placed between a first and second layer of glass materials. A degree of pressure and heat is then applied for a first period of cure time to bond the interlayer material and the woven panel into either a pre-form assembly or a layered glass element.
Method for producing a laminated pane
A method for producing a laminated pane, wherein a first laminating film, a carrier film, and a second laminating film are provided and joined to form a pre-laminate, wherein the first laminating film, the carrier film, and the second laminating film have the same film thickness, a compensating film and the pre-laminate are arranged to form a layer stack between a first pane and a second pane, wherein, parallel to two side edges of the layer stack, in each case a strip-shaped peripheral film is arranged and the compensating film is provided to compensate an offset between the pre-laminate and the peripheral films, and the layer stack including the first pane, the pre-laminate, the compensating film with peripheral films, and the second pane is laminated to form a laminated pane, wherein the first laminating film and the second laminating film have a plasticizer content of less than 15 wt.-%.
Laminated body containing fiber-reinforced resin, fiber-reinforced composite resin material and methods of producing these
A laminated body, containing a fiber-reinforced resin, in which a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin layer (1) containing fiber bundle of reinforcing fibers and a first thermoplastic resin, and a resin layer (2) containing a second thermoplastic resin, are alternately laminated, to form the fiber-reinforced resin, and the ratio of the indentation elastic modulus E.sub.IT-B of the first thermoplastic resin portion of the laminated body with respect to the indentation elastic modulus E.sub.IT-C of the second thermoplastic resin is 1.5 or more and 5.0 or less; a fiber-reinforced composite resin material; and a method of producing these.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SANDWICH PANEL AND SANDWICH PANEL
A method of manufacturing a sandwich panel (100) includes: a step of preparing a plurality of sheet-like prepregs (211); a step of performing a first heating and pressurization process through a release film (25) on upper and lower surfaces of a laminate where the plurality of prepregs (211) are laminated such that the laminate is integrated to obtain a composite facing material (40); and a step of disposing the composite facing material (40) on each of an upper surface side and a lower surface side of a sheet-like core layer (10) having a honeycomb structure and integrating the laminate through a second heating and pressurization process, in which a pressure of the first heating and pressurization process is higher than or equal to a pressure of the second heating and pressurization process.
