Mold release film and method for producing laminate

Provided is a mold release film capable of transferring a concave-convex structure to the surface of an adhesive film.

Construction Panel Having Improved Fixing Strength

A plasterboard comprises a gypsum matrix having particles of agglomerated fibres embedded therein in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum, the gypsum matrix further comprising a polymeric additive, the polymeric additive being present in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum.

Laminate and packaging bag comprising same

The objective of the present invention is to provide a packaging bag which is produced from a laminate, which is excellent in straight cut property and which hardly cause a parting, even if the laminate contains a biaxially stretched PBT film having a large distortedness of a molecular orientation axis. The laminate has a biaxially stretched film substrate consisting of a polyester resin composition and a sealant film consisting of a polyolefin resin composition, and has a straight cut property in a longitudinal direction of 5 mm or less. The polyester resin composition contains 60 wt % or more of a polybutylene telephthalate resin, and the polyolefin resin composition contains 40 wt % to 97 wt % of a propylene-ethylene block copolymer, 3 wt % to 10 wt % of an ethylene-propylene copolymer elastomer, and 0 wt % to 50 wt % of an ethylene-αolefin random copolymer.

A biaxially orientated polyester film has a P.sub.L/V.sub.L ratio of 0.3 to 1.2, P.sub.L and V.sub.L representing the average diameter of the convex portions and the average diameter of the concave portions, respectively, that are defined on the basis of a slice level with a height of 0 nm (reference plane) in a roughness curve determined for at least one surface using a three dimensional surface roughness meter, and the convex portions accounting for an area ratio of 30% to 51% of the reference plane. The biaxially oriented polyester film is excellent in travelling property, slitting property, and dimensional stability, and serves, when used for magnetic recording medium production, to provide a high density magnetic recording medium having a smooth magnetic layer, suffering little dimensional change due to variations in environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity or due to storage, and having good electromagnetic conversion characteristics with little dropout.

THERMOPLASTIC BAGS COMPRISING LAMINATES HAVING BONDED PROTRUSIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME

Thermoplastic bags include laminates with bonded protrusions. More specifically, one or more implementations include a first thermoplastic film with a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the first thermoplastic film and second thermoplastic film bonded to the protrusions (e.g., raised rib-like elements or troughs between the raised rib-like elements) of the first thermoplastic film. By bonding a second thermoplastic film to the protrusions of the first thermoplastic film, the resulting laminate has an increased effective gauge or loft. In one or more implementations the second thermoplastic film is a flat film. In alternative implementations, the second thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the second thermoplastic film and protrusions of the first thermoplastic film are bonded to protrusions of the second thermoplastic film.
