DIRECTIONAL TEAR PACKAGING FILM

The present disclosure relates to flexible, multilayered packaging films and packages produced from the films. In particular, the films include a machine direction linear tear layer that comprises from 60 percent to 95 percent ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) and from 5 percent to 40 percent polyethylene. The films and packages demonstrate improved machine directional linear tear.

Recyclable PE packaging film with improved stiffness

The present teaching concerns a recyclable co-extruded PE packaging film with a first laminate layer of at least 60 vol % HDPE and a second laminate layer of a hetero-phase polypropylene block copolymer with a polyethylene content of 5-30 wt. % and a melting point higher than 155° C., preferably higher than 160°, the thickness of the second laminate layer being less than 5 μm.

A flat strip 1, suitable for forming a tube flexible skirt, comprising a decorative film 15 superimposed on a primary film 16, said primary film 16 consisting of a series of polymeric layers and comprising a sealable inner layer 14 at the lower surface 20 of the strip 1, said decorative film 15 comprising a sealable outer layer 7 at the upper surface 19 of the strip 1 and a decorative layer 8, 9.

The primary film 16 comprises means for stabilizing the strip 1 and protecting the decorative layer 8, 9 against heating.

Method of making a tube and tube

A method of making a tube (60) includes forming at least one tube layer (101, 106, 108); and forming at least one film layer (102, 103, 104) on the at least one tube layer, wherein the at least a portion of the at least one film layer does not completely overlap the at least one tube layer.

RECYCLABLE SACHETS

Sachets composed of metal barrier layers that can include both a sealant and an external protective coating material. The sealant provides heat sealing, and product formulation protection properties, while the barrier material functions to reduce the moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) into or out of the sachet.

Diffuser of active agents such as insecticides, perfumes, detergents or disinfectants, and manufacturing process thereof

Diffuser of an active liquid agent, for the treatment of a fluid environment, be it at the gaseous or liquid state, of the type including a container (1) of the active agent, closed by grid element apt to maintain in position the active agent and to allow the emanation of fluids of the same, the grid element being covered by a barrier film, peelable at the time of the first use to make operative the grid element, wherein the container (1) is closed by a single multilayer film (2, 3a, 3b) including at least one external barrier layer (3a) and at least another inner sealing layer (2) apt to maintain in position the active agent and to form the grid element, at the time of the first use of the container, following the simultaneous removal of the barrier film and of predefined portions of the sealing layer.

Container for emanating volatile substances

The invention relates to a container for emanating volatile substances, The container comprises a container body which has at least one opening and is closed by a lid film. The lid film comprises an outer multi-layer film having at least one barrier layer impermeable to the volatile substances, a coextruded inner multi-layer film having at least one layer permeable to the volatile substances. The coextruded inner multi-layer film is bonded on one side to the outer multi-layer film and on another side to the container. The coextruded inner multi-layer film consists of at least a polyethylene layer, a release layer comprising a polymer selected from the group consisting of EVOH and PETg, a peelable interface interposed between the release layer and a layer permeable to the volatile substances, whereby said permeable layer comprises a polymer selected from the group consisting of mVLDLLDPE, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, and ethylene n-butyl acrylate copolymer.

Method of producing a packaging enveloping container precursors, especially each for a single dimensionally stable foodstuff container, with folding over of the container precursor

A method for precursor production includes A) providing a multitude of container precursors, and in each case a) providing a sheet-like composite, having a first longitudinal edge, a further longitudinal edge and, from the first longitudinal edge to the further longitudinal edge: i. a first longitudinal crease, ii. a second longitudinal crease, iii. a third longitudinal crease, and iv. a fourth longitudinal crease. The method includes b) producing a first longitudinal fold characterized by a first internal angle along the first longitudinal crease and a third longitudinal fold characterized by a third internal angle along the third longitudinal crease; c) producing a second longitudinal fold characterized by a second internal angle along the second longitudinal crease and a fourth longitudinal fold characterized by a fourth internal angle along the fourth longitudinal crease; d) contacting and joining the first longitudinal edge to the further longitudinal edge thereby obtaining a longitudinal seam.
