COMPOSTABLE FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
A compostable flexible material comprising at least two layers, wherein all of the layers of the compostable flexible material are compostable. The compostable material can be heated in a microwave. A compostable packaging can be made from the compostable flexible material and comprises a compostable reclosable pressure closure.
COMPOSTABLE FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
A compostable flexible material comprising at least two layers, wherein all of the layers of the compostable flexible material are compostable.
COPPER BEARING SUBSTRATE FOR ODOUR CONTROL
A substrate having discrete copper laminae for positioning proximate an odour causing area of a user's body. The lamina are spaced apart to provide channels between adjacent laminae and the substrate. The high density of the laminae and channels cooperate to control odour. Several embodiments are disclosed for use in a variety of clothing and footwear articles.
Barrier film or sheet and laminated packaging material comprising the film or sheet and packaging container made therefrom
Barrier films comprising a PECVD barrier coating from diamond-like carbon are disclosed, along with methods of manufacturing such films, and laminated packaging materials comprising such films, in particular for liquid food packaging, are disclosed. Packaging containers comprising the laminated packaging material or being made from the laminated packaging material, in particular a packaging container for liquid food packaging, are also disclosed.
Laminated packaging material comprising a barrier film and packaging containers manufactured therefrom
A packaging laminate that includes a barrier film having a PECVD barrier coating of diamond-like carbon is disclosed, along with a method of manufacturing such films, and laminated packaging materials comprising such films, in particular intended for liquid food packaging are disclosed. Packaging containers that include the laminated packaging material or being made from the laminated packaging material, in particular to a packaging container intended for liquid food packaging are also disclosed.
PACKAGING MATERIAL WITH BARRIER PROPERTIES
The present invention is directed to a packaging material, more specifically a packaging material having gas and/or moisture barrier properties, wherein the material comprises a barrier material comprising a layer comprising at least 50% of a zinc ionomer, a layer of polyethylene and a layer that forms a gas barrier. The invention is also directed to packaging products using said barrier material. Such products are in particular packages suitable for cosmetics and personal care products.
VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION FOR POWDER MOLDING, AND VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED RESIN-MOLDED BODY AND LAMINATE
A composition of polyvinyl chloride for powder molding may include a polyvinyl chloride (A), a polyvinyl chloride (B), and a phosphate, among others. The polyvinyl chloride (A) may have an average particle diameter of 50 to 500 and the polyvinyl chloride (B) may have an average particle diameter of 0.01 μm or more and less than 50 An average polymerization degree of the polyvinyl chloride (A) may be 1350 or more, and the phosphate may comprise a polyoxyalkylene alkyl phosphate.
Odor-Managed Ostomy Film
The present disclosure provides a film. In an embodiment, a multilayer film is provided and includes (A) a seal layer, (B) a barrier layer, and (C) an odor control layer. The odor control layer includes an odor control composition containing (A) from 85 wt % to 99.5 wt % of an olefin-based polymer and (B) from 15 wt % to 0.5 wt % of an odor suppressant. The odor suppressant includes a blend of: (i) an ionomer, (ii) particles of zinc oxide, and (iii) particles of copper oxide. The composition has a methyl mercaptan odor suppression value of greater than 45% as measured in accordance with ASTM D5504-12.
Roof Cover Board Derived From Engineered Recycled Content
An improved cover board product with a panel comprised of three discrete layers: a top surface layer comprised of either paper or a fiberglass web, a bottom surface layer comprised of either paper or a fiberglass web, and a core layer comprised of discrete paper fragments and polypropylene fragments, which are connected by use of a thermoplastic bonding resin, including polyethylene. The bonding resin is generally attached in a random pattern to less than 100% of the paper fragment and polypropylene fragment surface area. The paper fragments are generally shaped as irregular plates. The polypropylene fragments can have multiple shape types. The two different fragment types are randomly distributed in the core layer relative to each other. The core layer includes small voids in and around the particles, which improves flexibility. The core layer is attached to the top and bottom surface layers by use of a thermoplastic adhesive, including polyethylene.
Breathable films and method of making the same
The present disclosure provides breathable films and method of making the same. The breathable films according to the present disclosure comprise a film layer comprising polymeric composition comprising equal to or less than 60 wt % of a linear low density polyethylene resin which exhibits each of the following properties: (1) a CEF fraction from 70 to 90 C of equal to or greater than 80% of the total CEF fractions; (2) a melt index, I2, measured according to ASTM D 1238 (2.16 kg @190C), in the range of equal to or greater than 2.0 g/10 min and equal to or less than 5.0 g/10 min; and (3) a melt flow ratio, 110/12, of equal to or less than 6.7.
