Method for forming three-dimensional object, three-dimensional-object forming apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable medium storing program for three-dimensional-object forming apparatus
A method for forming a three-dimensional object by extruding ink droplets from ink-jet heads includes forming an inner build region of the object. A colored region is formed outside of the inner build region so as to color the object. A support region is formed outside of the colored region so as to support the object while the object is being formed. An intermediate region is formed between the inner build region and the colored region. The intermediate region is formed in such a manner that affinity between the intermediate region and the inner build region and affinity between the intermediate region and the colored region are higher than affinity between the colored region and the support region.

Systems and methods of modulating flow during vapor jet deposition of organic materials
Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter provide methods and systems including a nozzle, a source of material to be deposited on a substrate in fluid communication with the nozzle, a delivery gas source in fluid communication with the source of material to be deposited with the nozzle, an exhaust channel disposed adjacent to the nozzle, a confinement gas source in fluid communication with the nozzle and the exhaust channel, and disposed adjacent to the exhaust channel, and an actuator to adjust a fly height separation between a deposition nozzle aperture of the nozzle and a deposition target. The adjustment of the fly height separation may stop and/or start the deposition of the material from the nozzle.
PLASMA ELECTRON BEAM TREATMENT INKJET PRINTING DEVICE
An inkjet printing device for multi-color printing includes: multi-color inkjet nozzles that move in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the target base printing material and also in the direction parallel to the surface of the target base printing material; plasma ejection ports provided downstream of the multi-color inkjet nozzles in a manner oriented facing the surface of the multiple colored inks printed on the target base printing material; and an electron beam irradiation part located on the downstream side of the inkjet nozzles and plasma ejection ports, in a manner oriented facing the printed surface of the target base printing material.
Applicator comprising an integrated control circuit
The disclosure concerns an applicator, in particular a printhead, for applying a coating agent, in particular a paint, to a component, in particular to a motor vehicle body component or an attachment for a motor vehicle body component, having a plurality of nozzles for applying the coating agent in the form of a coating agent jet, and a plurality of coating agent valves for controlling the release of the coating agent through the individual nozzles, and having a plurality of electrically controllable actuators for controlling the coating agent valves. The disclosure provides that a control circuit for electrically controlling the actuators is integrated in the applicator.
Methods, devices, and systems for the fabrication of materials and tissues utilizing electromagnetic radiation
The present invention provides a three-dimensional bioprinter for fabricating cellular constructs such as tissues and organs using electromagnetic radiation (EMR) at or above 405 nm. The bioprinter includes a material deposition device comprising a cartridge for receiving and holding a composition which contains biomaterial that cures after exposure to EMR. The bioprinter also includes an EMR module that emits EMR at a wavelength of about 405 nm or higher. Also provided is a bioprinter cartridge which contains cells and a material curable at a wavelength of about 405 nm or greater. The cells are present in a chamber and are extruded through an orifice to form the cellular construct.

PATTERNING FOR SELECTIVE EJECTIONS OF PRINTABLE AMMONIUM-BASED CHALCOGENOMETALATE FLUIDS
A method that includes selectively ejecting, from a first nozzle, a patterning material on to a surface of a substrate to define an area within to eject a first printable ammonium-based chalcogenometalate fluid; ejecting, from a second nozzle, the first printable ammonium-based chalcogenometalate fluid within the area defined by the patterning material to form a first layer of the printable ammonium-based chalcogenometalate fluid; and heating the first layer of printable ammonium-based chalcogenometalate fluid to dissipate the first printable ammonium-based chalcogenometalate fluid into a transition metal dichalcogenide having the form MX.sub.2.
Metal droplet jetting system
Systems and methods for additive manufacturing, and, in particular, such methods and apparatus as employ pulsed lasers or other heating arrangements to create metal droplets from donor metal micro wires, which droplets, when solidified in the aggregate, form 3D structures. A supply of metal micro wire is arranged so as to be fed towards a nozzle area by a piezo translator. Near the nozzle, an end portion of the metal micro wire is heated (e.g., by a laser pulse or an electric heater element), thereby causing the end portion of the metal micro wire near the nozzle area to form a droplet of metal. A receiving substrate is positioned to receive the droplet of metal jetted from the nozzle area.
