Extensible pole coupling assembly
A coupling assembly to releasably couple two or more tubes together. The tubes can be assembled and disassembled with conventional hand tools. A line or cable can be routed through the tubes. The coupling assembly can prevent snagging of lines on the exterior of the tubes. The coupling assembly can flex with the tubes under load, and the line can be fed through the coupling assembly without snagging.
Outrigger kit for fishing
This invention provides an outrigger assembly for fishing that can be quickly deployed from a portable bag about 1 meter long into a fully rigged outrigger in a selected length of 4 meters, 5 meters or 6 meters. Variable length is obtained by adding sections of telescoping pole. Quick deployment is obtained by using detachable line guides that are radially (or side) threadable in conjunction with a separate preassembled outrigger line loop for each deployed length. Different length outrigger line loop assemblies are color coded for quick identification. Stowed length and volume of the collapsed telescoping pole is minimized by the use of outrigger line guides that are removable from the outrigger pole. Threading and unthreading of an outrigger line loop without opening the loop is enabled by the radially threadable line guides. The invention also provides an outrigger holder having two sockets, one for the outrigger and one for a fishing pole.
ROTATABLE FISHING ROD HANDLE DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE BENDING AND STRAIGHTENING
A rotatable fishing rod handle device with adjustable bending and straightening includes a handle body, a wheel seat and a connecting rod, wherein a front end portion of the handle body is provided with a mounting hole inwardly. A rear end portion of the wheel seat is provided with a coupling shaft. The coupling shaft is located and rotatable in the mounting hole. A shaft body of the coupling shaft is provided with a groove, in which a latch protrusion and a spring are disposed. An end of the latch protrusion protrudes outward to a notch of the groove and the latch protrusion is elastically disposed in the groove through the spring. A first position limiting hole is formed at a position corresponding to the groove on the coupling shaft on a side wall of the handle body.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR EXPANDING AND COLLAPSING A ROD
Methods and apparatus for expanding a rod from a collapsed position to a formed position are disclosed. One such apparatus includes a plurality of segments for forming the body of the collapsible rod including with each segment coupled to each immediately adjacent segment of the plurality of segments. The apparatus may include a coupler for coupling each segment of the plurality of segments to each immediately adjacent segment of the plurality of segments. The coupler may stretch from a base segment to the tip of the apparatus and may be biased to apply a force to hold the plurality of segments in a formed position and to urge the plurality of segments into a formed position from a collapsed position. In the formed position, the plurality of segments may be aligned end-to-end to form a rod and in the collapsed position, the plurality of segments may be folded against each other such that cylindrical walls of each of the plurality of segments are positioned adjacent each other.

Tension-adjusting fishing pole
The tension-adjusting fishing pole may comprise a rod blank, a rod handle, an activation handle, and a reel. The rod handle and the rod blank may couple together to form a fishing pole. The reel may be coupled to a reel seat on the rod handle such that the fishing pole and the reel may be operable to catch fish. The rod blank may comprise a hollow interior. A fluid may be forced into the hollow interior of the rod blank by operating the activation handle and may increase pressure within the rod blank to stiffen the rod blank. The pressure exerted by the fluid within the rod blank may be reduced to allow the rod blank to flex.
