Printing apparatus, printing method, and storage medium
Ink containing metal particles is ejected from a print head, in accordance with a plurality of print ratios corresponding to a plurality of scans of the print head relative to a unit region of a print medium. At least one of the plurality of print ratios is set as a high print ratio which is higher than others. A height of the high print ratio, in a case where a scan corresponding to the high print ratio is a Lth (L: integral number) scan in the plurality of print scans, is higher than a height of the high print ratio, in a case where a scan corresponding to the high print ratio is a Nth (N>L; N: integral number) scan in the plurality of print scans.
INK-JET PRINTING APPARATUS, INK-JET PRINTING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In a print head, a plurality of ejection ports for ejecting metallic ink, including a solvent and particles for imparting a metallic gloss, are arranged in a predetermined direction. A plurality of printing scans are performed to the same area of the print medium to print an image on the print medium. In the printing scan, the metallic ink being ejected from the print head to a print medium while moving the print head in a scanning direction intersecting the predetermined direction. At least one of the plurality of printing scans is set as a first scan having a higher print ratio than the other printing scans.
INKJET RECORDING DEVICE AND PROGRAM
An inkjet recording device includes: an inkjet head that includes a nozzle for discharging ink on a recording material, and forms an image by discharging the ink from the nozzle on the recording material based on image data; and a hardware processor that performs image processing of the image data, wherein the hardware processor calculates a difference in ink adhesion amount between a target region and an adjacent target region adjacent to the target region in the image data, determines whether the difference in the ink adhesion amount exceeds a threshold based on a calculation result of the hardware processor, and performs a responding process for occurrence of a wrinkle on the recording material based on a determination result of the hardware processor.
Volume Data Representation and Processing for Liquid Dispensing Devices
A system and method for ejecting one or more fluids from a digital dispense device. The method includes a) inputting to a memory a volume per unit area for each of the one or more fluids to be ejected from the digital dispense device; b) matching the volume per unit area to a device resolution for the digital dispense device; c) formatting fluid ejectors for the digital dispense device for the device resolution; and d) ejecting fluid from the digital dispense device to provide the volume per area for each of the one or more fluids.
CUSTOM PRODUCT IMAGING METHOD
A networked product imaging system includes devices that provide the production of imaged goods. Sellers are easily integrated into the network with minimal or no inventory requirements. Customer requirements are provided to a central computing device (CCD) that has two-way communication with a plurality of geographically separated product image forming devices. The central computing device determines specifications for forming the image on the blank product in accordance with the customer's order. The central computing device selects a product image forming device from the plurality of geographically separated product forming devices for fulfilling the order, based upon factors that include the specification of the product image forming device available, the product image forming inventory and the blank product inventory available at the geographic location of the product image forming device. The selected product image forming device forms the image on the blank product at the remote location.
Three-dimensional image forming system and three-dimensional structure
A three-dimensional image forming system of the present invention is characterized to include a density adjustment unit configured to adjust, for print data for printing a grayscale image used to cause a predetermined region of a thermally expandable sheet to thermally expand, density of the grayscale image according to types of pattern images included in the grayscale image, in print regions of the pattern images such that expansion heights of the print regions of the pattern images become desired heights.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, HALFTONE PROCESSING METHOD, AND HALFTONE PROCESSING PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes: a nozzle head in which nozzles that form dots on a recording medium by ejecting ink onto the recording medium are arranged in a row in a first direction; a moving mechanism that moves at least one of the recording medium or the nozzle head relative to another in a second direction intersecting the first direction; an image acquirer that acquires image data for forming an image of dots on the recording medium; and a halftone processor that determines whether to form a dot at each pixel position of the image on the basis of the image data, wherein the halftone processor includes: an n-value processor; a grouping processor; a total value calculator; and a rearrangement processor.
PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing device prints an object on a medium by inkjet printing. The printing device includes: a glossy ink head that discharges ink droplets of a glossy ink having a glossy color; and a main scan driver that prompts the glossy ink head to perform main scans in which the glossy ink head discharges the ink droplets while moving in a predetermined main scanning direction. The glossy ink contains a glossy pigment. In the main scans, the glossy ink head discharges the ink droplets plural times while moving in the main scanning direction to form ink dots at positions on the medium aligned in the main scanning direction. The ink droplets discharged from the glossy ink head each have a volume constituting a size that allows for contact on the medium between any ones of dots formed in each one of the main scans.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
The present disclosure prevents a visible pattern corresponding to the pattern of a mask from being noticeable and enables more appropriate printing. A printing apparatus 10 performing printing by an inkjet scheme includes: an inkjet head 102; and a controller 20, configured to control the operation of a main scan driver 16 and a sub scan driver 18 to perform a main scanning operation multiple times on each position on a medium 50. In the main scanning operation, for at least part of ejection positions serving as ejection targets of ink droplets in the main scanning operation, the controller 20 causes the inkjet head 102 to eject an ink droplet in accordance with a mask for selecting part of the at least part of ejection positions. In the main scanning operation at one time, the controller 20 causes the inkjet head 102 to eject an ink droplet in accordance with a preset first mask. In the main scanning operation at another time different from the one time, the controller 20 causes the inkjet head 102 to eject an ink droplet in accordance with a second mask for selecting an ejection position in a pattern different from the first mask.
