Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a print execution section and a controller. The print execution section includes: a printing head having nozzles arranged in a first direction; a head driver that drives the printing head to discharge ink from the nozzles thereby forming dots on a printing medium; and a movement mechanism that moves the printing medium relative to the printing head in any of the first direction and a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The controller obtains a piece of object image data, generates, by using the object image data, a plurality of pieces of dot data indicating formation states of the dots for pixels, and prints a printing image by causing the print execution section to execute discharge of the ink and movement of the printing medium by use of the pieces of dot data.
IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An object is to print a high quality image with resistance to print misalignment. To this end, the image processing apparatus generates quantized data for printing a first dot pattern and a second dot pattern in an overlapping manner. The first dot pattern and the second dot pattern are lattice patterns varying in a combination of two basis vectors. In a combined dot pattern obtained by combining the first and second dot patterns, there is a neighboring dot in which a dot in the first dot pattern and a dot in the second dot pattern are arranged at an interval smaller than a lattice spacing. The neighboring dot includes multiple neighboring dots varying in an approach direction.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and storage medium that determine execution of density characteristics acquisition processing at an appropriate timing
An information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a storage medium that execute density characteristics acquisition processing at an appropriate timing are provided.
Image recording apparatus
When a specified image is recorded while ranging over a boundary between a first dot recording range and a second dot recording range, a controller of an image recording apparatus judges whether or not a predetermined condition is fulfilled, the predetermined condition including at least one of a first condition which relates to a duty and a second condition which relates to a positional deviation in a scanning direction of a landing position of a liquid. If the predetermined condition is fulfilled, the dot belonging to a correcting portion is formed by correcting discharge in which the liquid in a discharge amount smaller than a set discharge amount is discharged. If the predetermined condition is not fulfilled, the dot belonging to the correcting portion is formed by ordinary discharge in which the liquid in the set discharge amount is discharged.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING INK EJECTION
An inkjet printing apparatus includes: a first and a third head that ejects ink onto a print medium to form a printed image; a second head that coats the print medium with a treatment agent that contains a coagulant that coagulates ink; and a control unit that performs a two step ink ejection control process to control the first through third heads such that ink is ejected onto the print medium until a printing rate in a predetermined region of the print medium reaches a threshold value which is set in advance, coats the treatment agent thereafter, and then ejects ink according to a remaining printing rate after the treatment agent is coated.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus comprising a printing head including a plurality of nozzles, a correction value setting unit configured to set a correction value, a printing data generation unit configured to correct image data and a printing control unit configured to cause to print a first region and a second region on, based on the image data after correction, wherein the printing control unit causes to print one of the first raster lines with a predetermined number of the nozzles and to print one second raster line with a number, greater than the predetermined number, of the nozzles, and the correction value setting unit sets the correction value applied to the second raster line and the correction value applied to some of the first raster lines, in accordance with a printing condition that changes a concentration difference of the second raster line from the first raster lines.
INK-JET RECORDING APPARATUS AND INK-JET RECORDING METHOD TO DETERMINE INK AMOUNT USING BAR CODE
An ink-jet recording apparatus includes a recording unit, a scanning unit, an acquisition unit, and a determination unit. In the recording unit, a plurality of nozzles to apply ink is arrayed. The scanning unit is configured to perform relative scanning with the recording unit on a recording medium. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire input image data that includes a bar code including a plurality of black bars and a plurality of white bars and having a length in a first direction that is greater than a length in a second direction crossing the first direction. The determination unit is configured to determine, based on lengths of the plurality of white bars in the second direction, an amount of ink to be applied to a black bar adjacent to a corresponding white bar in the second direction.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording unit, an acquisition unit, a scanning unit, and a control unit. In the recording unit, a plurality of nozzles to which ink is supplied from a common liquid chamber is arranged in a first direction. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire image data. The scanning unit is configured to perform relative scanning with a recording medium in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The control unit is configured to control ink ejection operation of the recording unit. In a predetermined one time of relative scanning, the control unit uses a first nozzle, and does not use a second nozzle adjacent to the first nozzle in the first direction, for edge areas of a barcode including a plurality of bars in which a length in the first direction is longer than a length in the second direction.
INKJET PRINTING METHOD FOR THIN-FILM COATING
An inkjet printing method may includes a dot pattern printing process of printing a dot pattern group by discharging ink at a preset position of a surface of an object using a nozzle group for forming a dot pattern so that dropped droplets are not in overlap with each other, a connection pattern printing process of printing a connection pattern group by discharging ink at a position between neighboring patterns using a nozzle group for forming a connection pattern so that the same attractive force acts to the neighboring patterns dropped on the surface of the object, and a finishing printing process of finishing a coating of the surface of the object by discharging ink to an area except for neighboring dropped droplets using a nozzle group for finishing so that the same attractive force act to the dropped droplets that are dropped on the surface of the object.
IMAGE PRINTING APPARATUS
Dot data for a boundary zone between metallic ink and color ink is changed to increase a time difference between a scan for applying the metallic ink and a scan for applying the color ink. With this change, a fusion time of the metallic ink is ensured, and the occurrence of an image defect is suppressed.
