HEATING DEVICE, DRYING DEVICE, AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A heating device heats a sheet to which a liquid discharge unit discharges a liquid. The heating device includes a first heater to heat the sheet that has passed through the liquid discharge unit, a vacuum conveyor to convey the sheet that has passed through the first heater while sucking the sheet, a second heater to heat the sheet being conveyed by the vacuum conveyor, and circuitry that cause the first heater to heat the sheet when sheet data regarding the sheet satisfies a predetermined condition.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A printing apparatus including a conveyance unit for conveying a print medium fed from a feeding apparatus, a detection unit for detecting the fed print medium, a printhead, provided on a downstream of the detection unit with respect to a conveyance direction of the print medium, for printing an image by discharging ink to the conveyed print medium, and a heating unit, provided on a downstream of the printhead with respect to the conveyance direction, for heating the print medium on which the image is printed, exclusively controls to stop driving of the heating unit if it is determined, based on a timing of detecting the print medium, that the print medium is at a print position, and to drive the heating unit if it is determined that the print medium is not at the print position.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet, a printing unit configured to print an image by discharging ink to the sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit, a heating unit configured to heat the sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit and to which the image has been printed by the printing unit, and a control unit configured to, in a case of double-side printing in which after printing an image to a first side of the sheet, an image is printed to a second side of the sheet, based on an amount of ink discharged for the first side and an amount of ink discharged for the second side, control heating by the heating unit with respect to the second side.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit configured to convey a print medium, a printhead for printing an image by discharging ink to the conveyed print medium, a heating unit provided on a downstream side of the printhead with respect to a conveyance direction of the print medium and configured to heat the print medium, and a ventilation unit provided on a downstream side of the heating unit with respect to the conveyance direction and configured to ventilate air in a peripheral space of a conveyance path of the print medium. The printing apparatus controls to delay a start of printing by the printhead so that the print medium dried by the heating unit passes through the conveyance path in a state in which a humidity in the space becomes lower than a predetermined value due to the ventilation.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes an image forming section, a heater, a first calculation section, storage, and a second calculation section. The image forming section ejects ink onto a sheet in which first to M-th regions are defined (M is an integer of at least 2). The heater heats an n-th region of the sheet using an n-th heat source (n is an integer of at least 1 and no greater than M). The storage stores therein temperature information indicating a first heating temperature for the n-th region. The second calculation section calculates a second heating temperature for the n-th region based on the temperature information and the ink ejection amount to the n-th region calculated by the first calculation section.
Recording medium holder and image forming system
A recording medium holder includes a base, a platen configured to hold a printing target portion of a recording medium, and a plurality of platen supports to support the platen. The plurality of platen supports is disposed side by side on the base. The plurality of platen supports includes a first platen support at one end and a second platen support respectively at one end and the other end of the plurality of platen supports. The first platen support the second platen support are separable from the platen.
Machine for digital printing on tape
A machine for digital printing on tape, which comprises a frame that supports elements of entraining at least one tape along an advancement path and is provided with at least one printing assembly, which comprises at least one ink-jet printing head; downstream of the printing assembly, along the advancement direction of the tape, there is at least one assembly for drying the inks applied to the tape; the drying assembly comprises a temperature-adjustable drum for supporting and entraining the tape, adhesion elements adapted to allow the retention in adhesion of the tape on the outer lateral surface of the drum, and hot air emitter elements which face at least one portion of the outer lateral surface of the drum.
Dryer and printer
A dryer includes a heater configured to heat an object to dry the object, a plurality of collection devices configured to collect a liquid generated by liquefication of condensed vapor in the dryer, a drainage tube configured to drain the liquid from each of the plurality of collection devices, a pump configured to feed the liquid through the drainage tube, a switch configured to switch a connection between the plurality of collection devices and the switch, and a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure between the switch and the pump.
PRINTING APPARATUS
The printing apparatus includes a support part (platen) configured to support a recording medium (roll sheet), a printing part (printing unit) configured to form an image by discharging ink to a roll sheet supported on a platen while reciprocating in a main scanning direction, and a drying acceleration part configured to accelerate drying of the ink discharged by the printing unit and applied on the roll sheet in a state where the roll sheet is supported on the platen, in which a drying capacity of the drying acceleration part is higher in an end region of the platen than in a central region of the platen in a reciprocation direction of the printing unit.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus includes a printing portion that performs printing on a printing medium, a heating portion that heats the printing medium, which is performed downstream of the printing portion in transport of the printing medium, and a controller. The heating portion is disposed in a position facing a back surface, on which the printing is performed. The controller executes first control for putting the heating portion in a first state in which the heating portion is in contact with the back surface during a transport stop period, in which transport of the printing medium is stopped, and executes second control for putting the heating portion in a second state in which the heating portion contacts the back surface at a lower degree than in the first state during a transport period, in which the transport of the printing medium is performed.
