SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS OF APPLYING, WITH A PRINTHEAD OF A PRINTING SYSTEM, INK TO A SUBSTRATE BASED ON A DISTANCE THE PRINTHEAD HAS MOVED
Systems, apparatuses and methods provides for technology that applies, with a printhead of a printing system, ink to a substrate as the substrate remains stationary and the printhead moves across the substrate. The technology determines, with a distance encoder, a distance that the printhead has moved, and controls application of the ink from the printhead to the substrate based on the distance.
Printing error detection
There is disclosed a device, method and program, wherein the method comprises detecting a power increase, during which power usage increases by at least a threshold amount over an expected power usage during movement of a printer carriage over a print medium along a scan axis. The increase method further comprises detecting a location of the printer carriage at a time of the detected power usage increase and determining, based on the detected location of the printer carriage, whether the print medium is damaged.
Determination of rendering speed based on the measured temperature of a curing module
The disclosure relates to a rendering apparatus, method and non-transitory machine-readable storage medium for determining a speed of a carriage during rendering of an image. A plurality of swaths of rendering fluid are deposited on a print target using a set of printheads moving across the print target. A temperature of a curing module is measured at a respective time of depositing each respective swath. An arrival time for each deposited swath to respectively arrive at the curing module is predicted. The speed of the carriage during depositing the plurality of swaths is determined based on the measured temperature of the curing module and predicted arrival time for each respective swath.
CONVEYOR AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A conveyor includes a conveyance roller to convey a conveyed object, a pair of roller supports opposing to each other and supporting both ends of the conveyance roller in an axial direction thereof, a position sensor to detect a position of the conveyed object, and a sensor support supporting the position sensor. Each of the pair of roller supports has an insertion hole into which the sensor support is inserted. The insertion hole determines a position of the sensor support in a direction intersecting an insertion direction of the sensor support. The sensor support includes a positioning portion determining the position of the sensor support with respect to at least one of the pair of roller supports. The positioning portion determines the position of the sensor support in the insertion direction, a direction opposite to the insertion direction, and a rotational direction about an axis along the insertion direction.
DEVICE INCLUDING MOVABLE HEAD AND HEAD CONTROL METHOD
A device includes a head to perform an operation on a conveyed object; a head moving device to move the head in a width direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the conveyed object; a position detector to detect a position of the conveyed object in the width direction; a speed detector to detect a moving speed of the conveyed object in the width direction; a position predictor to obtain a predicted width position of the conveyed object after a predetermined period, based on a detected position of the conveyed object and a detected moving speed of the conveyed object; a speed calculator to calculate a travel speed of the head; and a head travel controller to control the head moving device to move the head at the calculated travel speed. With the calculated travel speed, the head arrives at the predicted width position after the predetermined period.
THERMAL PRINTER AND PORTABLE TERMINAL
A printer includes a platen roller configured to feed recording paper by nipping the recording paper with a thermal head; a frame which includes a shaft support portion configured to support the platen roller so that the platen roller is rotatable about an axis direction thereof; a drive source arranged on an inner side of the frame in the axial direction with respect to the shaft support portion; a planetary gear mechanism which is arranged on the inner side of the frame in the axial direction with respect to the shaft support portion and is configured to reduce power of the drive source; and a power transmission mechanism which is arranged on an outer side of the frame in the axial direction with respect to the shaft support portion and is configured to transmit power of the planetary gear mechanism to the platen roller.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
There is provided a control system including: a motor, a moving apparatus, a detector, a driving circuit, and a controller. The controller executes: inputting, to the driving circuit, a first voltage command value up to a predetermined time; inputting, to the driving circuit, a second voltage command value since the predetermined time, and in accordance with a predetermined transfer function including an integral element; and setting an initial value of the integral element. The predetermined time is a time since the deceleration of the object has been started. When executing the switching from the first voltage command value to the second voltage command value, the controller sets a target position trajectory of the object up to the target stop position. Further, the controller sets the initial value of the integral element.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND NOTIFICATION METHOD OF PRINTING APPARATUS ABNORMALITY IN A PRINTING APPARATUS
According to an embodiment of this invention, the following processing is performed to solve a problem of accurately determining an abnormal state in a carriage by using an acceleration sensor. Output values from a plurality of acceleration sensors mounted in locations which have low degrees of mechanical/physical coupling in a carriage and a printing apparatus main body are transformed into data in a frequency domain. Subsequently, a carriage operation abnormality and a level of the abnormal state are determined based on a plurality of acceleration values in the frequency domain and a comparison of magnitudes of the acceleration values.
PRINTER
A printer includes a motor power supply line connecting a carriage motor with a power source, a sensor power supply line connecting a rotary encoder with the power source, a circuit breaker provided on the motor power supply line and interrupting electrical power if a cover sensor detects that a front cover is open and permit connection if the cover sensor detects that the front cover is closed, and a controller controlling the carriage motor and a recording head based on a position of a carriage detected by the rotary encoder.
LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE
A liquid ejecting device includes a head configured to eject liquid, a holding unit holding the head, a base unit holding the holding unit, a guide unit movably holding the base unit, the guide unit being configured to guide the base unit, and a detection unit attached to the base unit, the detection unit being configured to detect vibration of the base unit, in which the base unit includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the guide unit is attached to the first surface, and the detection unit is attached to at least one of the first surface and the second surface.
