FISHING ROD
A fishing rod includes a rod section and a fitting having a securing portion, the fitting being firmly secured to the rod section without inhibiting bending of the rod section, the securing portion having an excellent outer appearance. On a securing portion of a fishing line guide placed on the rod section, a prepreg sheet formed of plain-woven reinforcement fibers impregnated with a thermosetting resin is wound to secure the fishing line guide. The prepreg sheet is wound and secured so that, with respect to an axial direction, reinforcement fibers are in oblique directions, and intersecting angles of the reinforcement fibers in a winding region on a part of the rod section located beyond a distal end of the securing portion are smaller than those of the reinforcement fibers in a winding region on the securing portion.
FISHING LINE THREADER
A fishing line threader passes a fishing line through guide rings of fishing line guides installed in a fishing rod. The fishing line threader is composed of a single metallic wire material and has a fishing line pinching portion, an elastic portion and a leading end portion. First and second pinching portions of the fishing line pinching portion connect with each other at a first end portion and form an annular shape to fit and support the fishing line. The elastic portion forms a rhombus shape and has first and second elastic portions respectively extending from the first and second pinching portions. First and second leading end portions of the leading end portion extend respectively from the first and second elastic portions to a second end portion and are adjacent to each other. The first and second leading end portions are joined to each other by a joining portion.

LEADER STRAIGHTENER
A leader straightener having a first component disposed about a fishing rod. The first component has a coefficient of friction sufficient to straighten a leader when the leader is pulled through and away from the first component at an angle.

FISHING LINE GUIDE
The invention provides a fishing line guide which comprises a fixing part, a bending part connected with the fixing part, a ring frame connected with the bending part, and a guide ring channel penetrating through the ring frame and allowing a fishing line to pass through. The ring frame comprises a protrusion extending opposite to the fixing part, an inner surface of the protrusion is provided with a line guide surface, and the protrusion and the line guide surface are integrally formed and drawn from the ring frame in a stamping manner.

Fishing rod having rod body with fitting mounted thereon, tubular body having the fitting mounted thereon, and method for manufacturing them
There is provided a fishing rod preventing or suppressing deviation or inclination of a fitting on a surface of a rod body. The fishing rod includes an elongated cylindrical rod body, a fitting having a mounting portion and mounted to an outer peripheral surface of the rod body via the mounting portion, a first layer formed by winding a first sheet so as to enclose the mounting portion and the rod body, the first sheet being made of a fiber-reinforced resin or a resin having a thermal shrinkage rate of 2.5% or lower, and a second layer formed by winding a second sheet made of a fiber-reinforced resin on an outer side of the first sheet, wherein a temperature at which a loss tangent of the first sheet has a maximum value is different from a temperature at which a loss tangent of the second sheet has a maximum value.

EXTENSIBLE POLE COUPLING ASSEMBLY
A coupling assembly to releasably couple two or more tubes together. The tubes can be assembled and disassembled with conventional hand tools. A line or cable can be routed through the tubes. The coupling assembly can prevent snagging of lines on the exterior of the tubes. The coupling assembly can flex with the tubes under load, and the line can be fed through the coupling assembly without snagging.
