FISHING LINE CONTROL SYSTEM
A fishing device is disclosed including a fishing rod and a line guide connected to the fishing rod. A moveable or pivoting lever may be disposed adjacent to the line guide. A fishing line braking surface may disposed adjacent to the lever. The lever may be used to press the fishing line against the braking surface to slow or stop it from passing through the line guide. A finger control at the rod handle may be used to move the lever into a braking position.
FISHING LINE GUIDE MEMBER AND FISHING ROD PROVIDED WITH SAME
A fishing line guide member may include a line contacting surface that is in contact with a fishing line. The line contacting surface may have an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of 0.4 m or less, the arithmetic mean roughness Ra being obtained from a roughness profile. Further, the line contacting surface may have a core roughness depth Rk of 0.3 m or more and 1.5 m or less, the core roughness depth Rk being obtained from the roughness profile.

Fishing rod
A fishing rod that includes an elongated, tapered rod blank at least a portion of which is quadrilateral in cross section, the quadrilateral portion of the rod blank diminishing in cross-sectional area toward a tip end of the rod blank, the quadrilateral portion of the rod blank comprising a sandwich-structured composite of a core disposed between facings, the core less dense than the facings, the quadrilateral portion of rod blank less stiff in a casting direction than transverse to the casting direction; fishing line guides mounted at intervals along the length of the rod blank; a reel seat mounted at the base end of the rod blank; and a handle mounted at the base end of the rod blank adjacent to the reel seat.

Method of manufacturing product having complex shape by using at least one jig and at least one mandrel
Provided herein is a method of manufacturing a product having a complex shape by using at least one jig and at least one mandrel. The method of manufacturing a product having a complex shape by using at least one jig and at least one mandrel is configured to include: a preparation step of preparing a prepreg sheet and a cylindrical first mandrel around which the prepreg sheet is wound; a first rolling step of forming a first stacking surface by winding the prepreg sheet around the first mandrel; a second mandrel preparation step of locating a second mandrel on the outer circumferential surface of the first stacking surface; a second rolling step of forming a second stacking surface by winding the first stacking surface and the second mandrel with the prepreg sheet; and a core removal step of removing the first mandrel and the second mandrel.
Fishing line guide member, and fishing line guide and fishing rod provided with the same
A fishing line guide member is formed in a ring shape, and has a curve surface curved from an inner circumferential side toward an outer circumferential side in a cross-sectional view with respect to a cross-section of the fishing line guide member taken along a cut plane including an axis line of the fishing line guide member. In an inner circumferential side part of the curve surface, R1 is larger than R2, in which R1 denotes a curvature radius of an axial center side part of the curve surface and R2 denotes a curvature radius of an axial end side part of the curve surface.
