Extensible pole coupling assembly
A coupling assembly to releasably couple two or more tubes together. The tubes can be assembled and disassembled with conventional hand tools. A line or cable can be routed through the tubes. The coupling assembly can prevent snagging of lines on the exterior of the tubes. The coupling assembly can flex with the tubes under load, and the line can be fed through the coupling assembly without snagging.

Fishing line cleaner
The fishing line cleaner comprises a clip and a brush. The clip may removably couple to a fishing rod between a reel and a line guide. A fishing line may pass through the brush such that debris is swept from the fishing line as the fishing line is reeled onto the reel. As non-limiting examples, the debris may comprise aquatic plants and algae. The fishing line may be removed from the brush and the clip may be rotated around the fishing rod or repositioned along the fishing rod to reduce friction on the fishing line for casting.

COMPONENT FIXING TOOL FOR FISHING ROD COMPONENT, AND COMPONENT FIXING METHOD
A component fixing tool and a component fixing method, which fix a fishing rod component to a rod body, are provided. The component fixing tool includes a wrapping portion which wraps an attachment foot of the component and the rod body and is composed of a single twist yarn. The single twist yarn is wound around the attachment foot and the rod body by a multiple number of winding turns in a state of being stretched by a tension force. A one-turn wound portion and another one-turn wound portion of the single twist yarn form an angle with respect to each other. Two adjacent one-turn wound portions of the single twist yarn are at least partially overlapped with each other. A flat outer surface portion of the wrapping portion is partially defined by outer surfaces of the two adjacent one-turn wound portions of the single twist yarn.

Slide member, bicycle component using slide member, and fishing tackle component using slide member
A slide member is provided with a base material, a plated slide layer and an intermediate plated layer. The plated slide layer contains a solid lubricant. The intermediate plated layer is disposed between the base material and the plated slide layer, the intermediate plated layer increasing cohesion of the base material and the plated slide layer. The plated slide layer has a content of the solid lubricant in a range from 30 to 70 vol %, inclusive.

Outrigger kit for fishing
This invention provides an outrigger assembly for fishing that can be quickly deployed from a portable bag about 1 meter long into a fully rigged outrigger in a selected length of 4 meters, 5 meters or 6 meters. Variable length is obtained by adding sections of telescoping pole. Quick deployment is obtained by using detachable line guides that are radially (or side) threadable in conjunction with a separate preassembled outrigger line loop for each deployed length. Different length outrigger line loop assemblies are color coded for quick identification. Stowed length and volume of the collapsed telescoping pole is minimized by the use of outrigger line guides that are removable from the outrigger pole. Threading and unthreading of an outrigger line loop without opening the loop is enabled by the radially threadable line guides. The invention also provides an outrigger holder having two sockets, one for the outrigger and one for a fishing pole.
