RECORDING MEDIUM, CARD, AND BOOKLET
To provide a recording medium capable of improving color development retention characteristics during high-temperature and high-humidity preservation and suppressing color development of a background.
The recording medium includes a recording layer that includes a coloring compound with electron-donating properties, and a color developer with electron acceptability. The color developer includes a compound represented by the following formula (1).
##STR00001## (wherein, in the formula (1), X.sup.1 represents a divalent group that has at least one benzene ring. Y.sup.11, Y.sup.12, Y.sup.13, and Y.sup.14 independently represent a monovalent group. Z.sup.11 and Z.sup.12 independently represent a hydrogen-bonding group.)
THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING BODY
A thermosensitive recording body has at least a thermosensitive recording layer and a topcoat layer formed on a substrate. The substrate consists of a transparent film. At least the thermosensitive recording layer and the topcoat layer includes a diffuse reflection suppressor component that suppresses diffuse reflection of light from particles constituting the thermosensitive recording layer and the topcoat layer.
Heat sensitive recording material
The invention relates to a heat-sensitive recording material having a flat support, a thermal reaction layer on at least one face of the flat carrier, and optionally an intermediate layer formed between the flat support and the respective thermal reaction layer, and optionally other layers, a crosslinked biopolymer material in the form of nanoparticles being used as a binder in at least one of the layers. The invention also relates to the production and the use thereof.
AQUEOUS DISPERSION RESIN COMPOSITION, RESIN COMPOSITION FOR A THERMAL RECORDING LAYER, RESIN COMPOSITION FOR A PROTECTION LAYER, AND THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
An aqueous dispersion resin composition contains a first polymer produced by polymerizing a first monomer component containing (meth)acrylamide and a second polymer produced by polymerizing a second monomer component containing a carboxy group-containing vinyl monomer, wherein at least a portion of the carboxy group in the second polymer is neutralized.
THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MEDIUM
A thermosensitive recording medium is provided that is excellent in heat discoloration resistance in the blank portions and in bar code readability. It also has excellent water resistance and printing (recording) run-ability. The thermosensitive recording medium includes a support, a thermosensitive recording layer installed on the support, and a protective layer on the thermosensitive recording layer. The thermosensitive recording layer contains two kinds of electron accepting color developing agents, a sulfonic acid compound and a diphenyl sulfone compound. Both the thermosensitive recording layer and the protective layer contain crosslinking agents, and at least one, and preferably both, of the thermosensitive recording layer and the protective layer contain an ammonium zirconium carbonate as the crosslinking agent.
Compounds for Reducing Background Color in Color Change Compositions
Aspects of the invention include color change compositions having a color former and color developer composition that transitions from a first color state to a second color state upon application of an applied stimulus and an amount of a copolymer sufficient to eliminate background color of the color former and color developer composition during transition from the first color state to the second color state. Methods for preparing and devices employing the color change compositions of the invention are also described.
Heat-sensitive recording medium, and coating liquid for forming heat-sensitive color-developing layer
A heat-sensitive color-developing layer of a heat-sensitive recording medium and a coating liquid for forming the heat-sensitive color-developing layer each contain a leuco dye, a color developing agent and a polyvinyl alcohol resin containing an acetoacetyl group and a sulfonic acid group or a combination of a polyvinyl alcohol resin containing an acetoacetyl group and a polyvinyl alcohol resin containing a sulfonic acid group. Therefore, the heat-sensitive recording medium and the coating liquid for forming the heat-sensitive color-developing layer are excellent in light resistance, and free from unintended color development and discoloration even when exposed to ultraviolet radiation.
DISPLAY MEDIUM AND LAMINATE
Provided is a display medium configured to allow for intended drawing. The display medium includes a first recording layer capable of performing recording with a first laser beam having a first peak wavelength and a second recording layer capable of performing recording with a second laser beam having a second peak wavelength. The first recording layer and the second recording layer employ different recording methods.
Heat-sensitive recording material comprising phenol-free organic colour developers
A description is given of a heat-sensitive recording material, comprising phenol-free organic color developers, more particularly comprising a color developer mixture comprising phenol-free organic color developers, of a heat-sensitive recording layer and also of a coating composition for producing it, of the use of the heat-sensitive recording material, of the use of an organic color developer of a formula I for improving the resistance of the printed image of a heat-sensitive recording material, and of a method for producing heat-sensitive recording material.
Heat-sensitive recording body
A thermal recording medium includes: a transparent base material and a thermal recording layer on the base material. The thermal recording layer contains a dispersant having a carboxyl group and a crosslinking agent including an epichlorohydrin-modified polyamide polyamine resin or an organic compound containing an oxazoline group.
