COATING COMPOSITION, HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING LAYER, HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL, AND CORRESPONDING USES AND METHODS
A coating composition for producing a heat-sensitive recording material and to a corresponding heat-sensitive recording layer. The coating composition includes one or more color developers, one or more dye precursors, one or more specific fatty acid amides, and one or more (additional) specific sensitizers. A heat-sensitive recording material including a carrier substrate and a heat-sensitive recording layer, to the use of specific fatty acid amides in order to increase the grease resistance of a heat-sensitive recording material or a heat-sensitive recording layer, and to a method for producing a heat-sensitive recording material or a heat-sensitive recording layer.
Reversible recording medium
A reversible recording medium according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a reversible recording medium that includes recording layers and heat-insulating layers that are alternately stacked, in which the recording layers each include a reversible heat-sensitive color developing composition and a first light-heat converting agent. In this reversible recording medium, the recording layers are different from each other in a developing color of their respective reversible heat-sensitive color developing compositions and are different from each other in an absorption wavelength of their respective first light-heat converting agents. This reversible recording medium further includes a heat-generating layer that includes a second light-heat converting agent having an absorption wavelength that is different from the absorption wavelength of the first light-heat converting agent included in each of the recording layers.
HEAT SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL AND COLOR DEVELOPER
The presently claimed invention relates to a color developer, a process for its manufacture and its use as a component in heat sensitive recording material. The heat sensitive recording material is useful for thermographic printing.
Packaging sheet, and packaging container and packaging method using the packaging sheet
Provided are a packaging sheet and a packaging container where it is unnecessary to paste a printed label and disappearance or color development due to friction or the like after thermal printing do not occur. The packaging sheet includes a heat seal layer 10 for thermally welding by heating, a heat-sensitive layer 40 including a color developing material that develops a color by heating, and a base material layer 70 that secures the strength and protects the heat-sensitive layer 40. The heat seal layer 10, the heat-sensitive layer 40, and the base material layer 70 are provided in this order from a back surface side in a thickness direction. The packaging sheet is transparent before the heat-sensitive layer 40 develops the color.
Thermochromic Dye Compositions And Method For Preparing Same
A thermochromic composition including a dye molecule; a matrix, wherein the matrix comprises a material having a defined melting point; and an optional developer. A process for preparing a thermochromic composition, including providing a dye; heating a matrix above its melting point; adding the heated matrix to the dye until the dye dissolves in the matrix; optionally, adding a developer; wherein the thermochromic composition exhibits a first color at a first temperature and a second color at a second temperature; wherein the first color and the second color are different; and wherein the first temperature and the second temperature are different.
