THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING BODY
A thermosensitive recording body has at least a thermosensitive recording layer and a topcoat layer formed on a substrate. The substrate consists of a transparent film. At least the thermosensitive recording layer and the topcoat layer includes a diffuse reflection suppressor component that suppresses diffuse reflection of light from particles constituting the thermosensitive recording layer and the topcoat layer.

A linerless label roll of repositionable labels adapted to be printed in varying lengths comprising a web of thermally printable paper wound along a running axis and having a continuous length of adhesive on one side of the web so that when a length of the web is caused to be thermally printed it will have an adhesive on the reverse side thereof that extends in a uninterrupted manner along the entire length of the thermally printed web.
Thermal transfer sheet
Provided is a thermal transfer sheet which has satisfactory printability and provides a printed matter having excellent boiling resistance. Disclosed is a thermal transfer sheet which is provided with a substrate, at least a transferable protective layer and a transferable color layer in this order on one side of the substrate, and is provided with a back face layer on the other side of the substrate, characterized in that the transferable protective layer contains a cyclic olefin-based polymer having a glass transition temperature of 100 C. or more as a main component and further contains an incompatible resin with the cyclic olefin-based polymer, and the transferable color layer contains a colorant and a phenolic resin having a softening point of 100 C. or more.

A polyester film has a wax on a surface of one side of the film and is a polyester film in which this wax is dispersed in the form of islands on the surface of the film, and a filling factor of the wax in the film surface is 20 to 45%, and, as for a number of islands of the wax dispersed in the form of islands and each of which has an area of 200 m.sup.2 or larger, there is one or less/10000 m.sup.2.
Recording material for thermal printing methods
A recording material for thermal printing methods comprising a carrier and a dye-absorbing layer equipped for the thermal dye transfer, wherein a barrier layer is arranged between the carrier and the dye-absorbing layer and the barrier layer contains gelatine and a polymer binder dispersible in water, the gelatine and the polymer binder dispersible in water being cross-linked with one another, suitable for the production of photo-like images having very good dye migration behavior and without mottle effect.

A composition for a protection layer of a thermal recording material includes emulsion (A) and non-crosslinkable urea compound (B), and emulsion (A) has a pH of 6 or more, and contains copolymer resin (a) produced by copolymerizing reactive monomer component (a) containing at least a vinyl monomer component having a carboxyl group and a vinyl monomer component that is copolymerizable with the vinyl monomer component having a carboxyl group.
TRANSFER FILM, COATING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING IMAGES ONTO SUBSTRATES
The present invention relates to a transfer foil for transferring images onto solid substrates (transfer printing), such as textile supports, in particular T-shirts, metallic supports or plastic, in particular signs, ceramic supports, in particular cups and plates, etc., comprising a two-dimensional carrier based on polyester, based on polyether ether ketones or based on a cellulose-based material, having a layer (a) which is arranged on at least one of the carrier surfaces and which is made of a cross-linked, at least partially hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer, The present invention also relates to the use of same. A further subject matter of the present invention is a ready-to-use system for transfer printing, comprising a transfer foil and an image applied thereto, in particular printed thereon, and a hot melt adhesive.
Thermal transfer sheet
Provided is a thermal transfer sheet with low hot and cold peeling strengths. Thermal transfer sheet according to the present disclosure includes a substrate and a transfer layer, wherein the transfer layer includes at least a peeling layer, and the peeling layer contains a vinyl resin and at least one of an alcohol alkoxylate and an alcohol having 18 to 80 carbon atoms.

Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording material comprising at least an undercoat layer and a heat-sensitive recording layer in this order on a support, the undercoat layer containing an inorganic pigment, hollow particles, and a binder, the heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, developers, and a binder, the heat-sensitive recording layer containing a first developer and a second developer as the developers, the heat-sensitive recording layer containing an N,N-diarylurea-based compound represented by formula (1) as the second developer:
