METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INKJET PRINTABLE PAPER OR FOIL FOR USE AS A DECOR PAPER OR FOIL
An inkjet receiver coating may be used in a method for manufacturing a paper or a thermoplastic foil that is printable with an inkjet printer. The paper or the foil may be used as a decor paper or a decor foil, respectively, in a laminate panel. The paper or the foil may be coated on at least one side with the inkjet receiver coating. The inkjet receiver coating may include at least pigment and binder, and an ink reactive compound.
Face films and pressure sensitive laminates for printing
Microporous structures in face films are described for improving printability of the films. Also described are laminates and pressure sensitive adhesive laminates including the microporous structured face films. Various related methods are additionally described.
Coating composition and printable medium
A coating composition comprising water and polyurethane particles including cationic triphenyl-phosphonium salt functional groups. Also disclosed is a coated printable medium, with an image-side and a back-side, comprising a base substrate and the coating composition, such as described herein, that is applied over, at least, one side of the base substrate, forming an image-receiving layer. Also disclosed is the method for making such printable medium.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PANEL
A method may be provided for manufacturing a panel of the type having a support and a top layer. The top layer may have a printed motif and a wear layer disposed above the motif. The wear layer may be fabricated from PVC. The top layer may include an inkjet receiving layer that has less than 10% by weight of water absorbing substances. The method may involve providing a printing substrate, providing the printing substrate with the inkjet receiving layer, and digitally inkjet printing the motif with a set of water based inks. The digital inkjet printing may involve one or more printing operations. Each of the printing operations may be dedicated to print one color. The method may involve one or more ink drying steps. Each of the drying steps may be performed after performing one or more respective printing operations.
Pretreatment liquid, ink set, image recorded material, base material for image recording, method of producing base material for image recording, and image recording method
Provided are a pretreatment liquid for recording an image on an impermeable base material with an aqueous ink, the pretreatment liquid including an aqueous medium, a resin a having a glass transition temperature of lower than 25° C., and particles of a resin b having a glass transition temperature of 25° C. or higher; an ink set; a base material for image recording; an image recorded material; a method of producing a base material for image recording; and an image recording method.
Decorated natural leather
A manufacturing method of decorated natural leather including the steps of: attaching a crusted leather (45) with its corium side by an adhesive (46) to a temporary carrier (47); inkjet printing the crusted leather (45) on its grain side with one or more pigmented inkjet inks; wherein the surface area of the temporary carrier (47) is larger than the surface area of the crusted leather (45).
Method of producing recording medium and image recording method
Provided are a method of producing a recording medium, including a step of preparing a liquid A which includes at least one kind of aggregating agent selected from the group consisting of an acid, a polyvalent metal compound, and a metal complex, and water, a step of preparing a liquid B which includes a resin and water, a step of mixing the liquid A with the liquid B at an ambient temperature of 5° C. to 40° C. to obtain a mixed solution, a step of storing the mixed solution at an ambient temperature of 5° C. to 40° C., and a step of applying the mixed solution after the storage onto an impermeable base material within 30 days from the start of mixing the liquid A with the liquid B to obtain a recording medium; and an image recording method.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED MATTER
A problem to be addressed by the present invention is to provide a method of producing a printed material by printing an active energy ray-curable printing ink on a film, wherein the printed material has good adhesion between the ink and the film even after undergoing boiling treatment for boiling sterilization or retorting sterilization. Such a problem is solved by a method of producing a printed material, including the steps of printing an ink on a film; and irradiating the ink-printed face with an active energy ray; wherein the film contains: a polyamide film layer; and a layer that, as the outermost layer of at least one face of the film, contains a polyurethane obtained by use of a polycarbonate polyol as a polyol component.
Pre-treatment composition and printable medium
A pre-treatment composition comprising water, reactive crosslinking agents and polyurethane particles polyurethane particles including sulfonated- or carboxylated-diamine groups, isocyanate-generated amine groups, and polyalkylene oxide side-chains. Also disclosed is a pre-treated printable medium comprising a base substrate and the pre-treatment composition, such as described herein, that is applied over, at least, one side of the base substrate, forming an image-receiving surface. Also disclosed is the method for making such printable medium.
Inkjet recording medium
An inkjet recording medium includes a substrate having a resin layer, a bonding layer disposed on the resin layer, and an ink-receiving layer disposed on the bonding layer. The surface of the inkjet recording medium on the ink-receiving layer side of the inkjet recording medium has a 20° glossiness of 13.0 or more. The bonding layer contains an ultraviolet inhibitor at a content of 5.0% by mass or more and 35.0% by mass or less based on the total mass of the bonding layer.
