Dual binding system
A component system comprising a component and a first binding system coupled to the component and configured to be coupled to a first type of a binding mechanism. The system further includes a second binding system movably coupled to the component and configured to be coupled to a second type of binding mechanism that is different from the first type of binding mechanism.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING SECURITY, BINDING, AND LABELING FOR A PLURALITY OF PAPERS AND COVERING, PROTECTING, AND CONCEALING THE RECORDING, VIEWING, OR USING OF PERSONAL, PRIVATE, AND NONPUBLIC INFORMATION
Systems and methods for providing security, integrity, binding, maneuverability, and labeling for a plurality of papers, and for covering, protecting, and concealing the recording, viewing, or using personal, private, and nonpublic information on the page. The system includes an un-releasable locking binding device and tamper-evident binding device configured to connect, secure, and papers, which can substantially rotate 360 degrees, fold back upon itself, lie flat when open, and deter and prevent removal and insertion of pages, be tamper evident, and covering devices releasably positioned to cover personal, private, or nonpublic information located on the page. The bound plurality of papers can include an identification label and can be configured as a secure Notary journal notebook having all NonPublic Personal Information (NPPI) fields for a single record on the left or right page and an acronym list.

Ringed binder
A ringed binder with moveable platforms is disclosed. The ringed binder including a center support section; a first platform connected to the center support section and configured to move between a lowered position and a raised position; and a second platform connected to the center support section and configured to move between a lowered position and a raised position.
Binder apparatus
An example binder apparatus is disclosed. An example binder apparatus includes a housing having a first side surface, a second side surface, and an inner central surface extending between the first side surface and the second side surface. The example binder apparatus also includes a first carrier rail including a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, the first carrier rail including a first tab to extend away from the inner central surface of the housing, the first longitudinal edge disposed adjacent the first side surface of the housing. The example binder apparatus also includes a second carrier rail including a third longitudinal edge and a fourth longitudinal edge, the second carrier rail including a second tab to extend away from the inner central surface of the housing, the third longitudinal edge disposed adjacent the second side surface of the housing, the second longitudinal edge hingably engaging the fourth longitudinal edge. In addition, the example binder apparatus includes a slider including a locking block extending therefrom, the locking block disposed in a space between the first tab and the second tab when the binder apparatus is in a closed position and the locking block is disposed outside of the space between the first tab and the second tab when the binder apparatus is in an open position.

Ring binder mechanism
A ring mechanism has pivoting hinge plates supported by a housing so pivoting of the hinge plates can open and close rings for holding the loose-leaf pages. The mechanism has an actuator including a lower arm for moving the hinge plates to open the rings and an upper arm for moving the hinge plates to close the rings. The upper arm has a hook thereon. An intermediate connector comprises a cross bar captured by the hook on the actuator. The intermediate connector connects a travel bar to the actuator so movement of the actuator to pivot the hinge plates causes longitudinal movement of the travel bar in the housing. A locking element is moveable with the travel bar between a locking position and non-locking position.
