Heat transfer printing
There is provided a process for heat transfer printing, comprising electrostatically printing a transparent electrostatic ink composition (3) onto a transfer material (2), wherein the transparent electrostatic ink composition comprises a thermoplastic resin; printing an image (4) on the transparent electrostatic ink composition; contacting the image with a target substrate (1) under conditions such that the thermoplastic resin of the transparent electrostatic ink composition is softened or molten, and separating the target substrate and the transfer material, to leave the target substrate having thereon the image and an overlying layer of transparent electrostatic ink composition. Also disclosed is a fabric having thereon an image, the image having an overlying layer of transparent electrostatic ink composition.

A wooden decorative panel has rough texture and non-glossy look of veneer. A wooden decorative panel manufacturing method enables manufacture of the wooden decorative panel with a small material loss. The wooden decorative panel includes a veneer made from natural wood and having a plurality of surface irregularities due to vessels of the wood, and a transfer layer transferred from a transfer film and bonded to a surface of the veneer. The transfer layer has surface irregularities that are similar in shape to the plurality of surface irregularities. The wooden decorative panel has the feel and the appearance of natural veneer due to the irregularities formed by the vessels, and the durability sufficient for use as an industrial product.
Decals with dimensional offsets
Decals with dimensional offsets are disclosed. The decals may be part of a decal kit or may be applied to an article. The decals include an overlay having multiple dimensional spacers. When applied to an article, the decal overlay bonds to the article, securing the dimensional spacers between the overlay and the article creating dimensional offsets. The dimensional offsets are positioned on an interior surface of the article so that contact with a wearer's skin is minimized, reducing the perception of cling.

A process is described comprising the steps of applying a pattern of toner to the surface of a substrate, and adhering a layer of substantially transparent transfer material to the toner to define a matching pattern of transfer material. METHOD FOR FORMING DYE SUBLIMATION IMAGES IN AND TEXTURING OF SOLID SUBSTRATES
A method for texturing a thermoplastic substrate, while forming a dye sublimation image in the thermoplastic substrate is provided. A stack comprising a thermoplastic substrate and a plurality of processing layers is provided, wherein the plurality of processing layers comprise a dye carrier having a dye image and an elastomeric membrane and wherein at least one of the processing layers of the stack is textured. A vacuum pressure is provided on the stack through an elastomeric membrane, wherein the stack is clamped together. The stack is heated to at least a sublimation temperature of the stack, wherein texture from at least one of the process layers is transferred to the thermoplastic substrate. The thermoplastic substrate is cooled to a release temperature. The vacuum pressure is removed. The thermoplastic substrate is removed from the stack.

The barrier layer may be formed from a substantially solid formulation comprising a functional polyol component and a functional polyisocyanate component, wherein the functional polyol component and the functional polyisocyanate component reacts with each other to form the barrier layer configured to block dye migration.
