Transfer paper
An object of the present invention is to provide a transfer paper which allows smooth removal of a printed transfer paper from a design-printed fabric before steaming; and is unlikely to cause problems such as partial missing, color unevenness, color-development deterioration, etc. of the design on the fabric. Provided is a transfer paper having a substrate and one or more coating layers, the substrate having a base paper and one or more nonaqueous resin layers on one side of the base paper, the one or more coating layers being located on the one or more nonaqueous resin layers, the coating layer located outermost from the substrate, that is, the outermost coating layer, at least comprising a water-soluble polyester resin, a carboxylic acid-modified polyvinyl alcohol resin, an acrylic resin, a starch, and a white pigment, the acrylic resin having a glass transition point (Tg) of 0° C. to 45° C. and a minimum film forming temperature (MFT) of 0° C. to 50° C.
IMAGE RECORDING SHEET, IMAGE-DECORATED BODY, AND IMAGE-DECORATED BODY MANUFACTURING METHOD
An image-decorated sheet including: an image recording sheet; and an image layer formed on an image receiving surface of the image recording sheet with toner using an image forming apparatus, in which the image layer is transferred to a body to be decorated to decorate the body to be decorated, an image-decorated body on which an image is formed by the image-decorated sheet, and an image-decorated body manufacturing method.
Dual pressure clam press
A press can include an upper platen, a lower platen, a support arm, and an adjuster. The support arm can be adapted to move the upper platen substantially parallel to the lower paten between an open position and a closed position. The adjuster can have a cam adapted to engage a surface of the support arm and to rotate between a first rotational position and a second rotational position relative to the support arm. Rotation of the cam from the first rotational position to the second rotational position can move the upper platen toward the lower platen.
TRANSFER FILM, PLASTIC INJECTION-MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
Methods for producing a transfer film (1), in particular IMD transfer film (1), wherein the following steps are carried out, in particular in the specified order: preparing a carrier ply (3), preparing a transfer ply (2) having a decorative ply (21), wherein the transfer ply (2) has been or is arranged on the carrier ply (3), applying one or more forming elements (40) to the carrier ply (3), wherein the one or more forming elements (40) have a three-dimensional shape and are applied register-accurately with respect to the decorative ply (21).
A method for coating a plastic injection-molded article with the transfer film, as well as the transfer film and the plastic injection-molded article.
Marked wheel rim and method for manufacturing the same
A marked wheel rim is provided, including: a rim body and a mark. The rim body includes an outer surface. The mark is embedded on the outer surface and includes an outer peripheral edge adjacent to the rim body. The outer peripheral edge is non-protrusive beyond the outer surface. A method for manufacturing the marked wheel rim is further provided.
DYE SUBLIMATION INK COMPOSITION AND PROCESSES FOR USE WITH STAMP PADS
Provided are processes of applying a decorative imaging to a substrate that includes providing a stamp pad comprising a child and environmentally friendly disperse dye composition, inking a stamp with the disperse dye composition, optionally transferring the disperse dye composition from the stamp to an intermediate ink receptive surface using the rubber stamp to thereby place an image on an intermediate ink receptive surface, and transferring the image to a dye receptive object by application of sufficient heat and pressure. The disperse dye compositions provided herein are safe, environmentally friendly, and able to be used in stamp pad imaging processes.
HEAT SEALABLE THERMO-PRINTABLE TAPE
A heat-sealable thermoprintable tape includes an extruded thermoplastic coating having a smooth printable surface on a first side, and an extruded heat-seal polymer layer disposed on a second side of the extruded thermoplastic coating, opposite the first side. The extruded thermoplastic coating is bonded to the heat-seal polymer layer to form the heat-sealable thermoprintable tape. A method of forming a heat-sealable thermoprintable tape includes providing a support layer having an open structure configured to support an extruded coating, applying a polyurethane coating onto a first side of the support layer and into open spaces of the open structure to form a top surface, and extruding a heat-sealable polymer onto a second side of the support layer opposite the first side and into the open spaces of the open structure. The polyurethane coating bonds to the heat-sealable polymer within the open structure of the support layer.
Heat transfer sheet assembly with improved peeling
A heat transfer sheet assembly and method is disclosed for improving the process of removing the carrier layer from a facestock layer. The heat transfer sheet assembly may include a heat transfer facestock layer and a carrier layer. The facestock layer may be attached to the carrier layer and include an indicia receptive surface along a side opposite the carrier layer. The carrier layer may include at least one peel line that extends from opposite edges of the assembly wherein the peel line assist to remove the carrier layer from the heat transfer facestock layer once indicia is printed on the facestock layer.
