WATER PRESSURE TRANSFER METHOD AND WATER PRESSURE TRANSFER FILM
When water pressure transfer of decorative layer or layers is carried out on an article using a water pressure transfer sheet 202 having a non-extensible decorative layer 22 providing hologram function and an extensible decorative layer 24 of print pattern sequentially from a top of said water pressure transfer sheet, a plurality of preformed cracks 26 are formed in said non-extensible decorative layer 22 of said water pressure transfer sheet 201 before said water pressure transfer sheet 202 lands on water, then an activating agent for wetting and activating said extensible decorative layer 24 is applied, and thereafter said water pressure transfer sheet lands on the water whereby water pressure transfer is carried out having high profile followability.
CALCULABLE THREE-DIMENSIONAL COLOR PRINTING METHOD
A calculable 3D color printing method is used for generating, on a 3D object surface, a user-specified color texture pattern, including: performing modeling and simulated calculation with respect to a motion and a deformation of a PVA film in a traditional water transfer printing process to obtain a mapping function between each of pixels on the PVA film and points on an object surface; and calculating, by using the mapping function, a texture pattern to print on the PVA film. This disclosure further includes a set of mechanical devices and a 3D vision system for realizing precise and controllable water transfer printing which precisely prints a user-specified texture pattern onto an object surface. This disclosure further includes a multiple water transfer printing method, including: partitioning a complex object surface into a plurality of regions, and separately coloring each region, until eventually completing coloring of the entire object surface.
LAYERED GRAPHIC DECAL ARROW AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The layered graphic decal arrow consists of an arrow base, decal, and a finishing layer. Two separate curing processes are used to create the arrow to prevent adhesive from penetrating the decal thereby degrading the visual appeal of the arrow. The decal is applied to the arrow base, or printed on the arrow base, then flashed at a first temperature then cured at a second temperature. After cooling the arrow, a finishing layer is applied to the arrow. A uniform pressure is applied around the finishing layer to hold it in place while curing. After curing, the uniform pressure is removed, the arrow is polished to remove undesired markings and the arrow is cut to the desired length. In an alternative embodiment, the finish layer is a polymer coating applied to the arrow without the need for uniform pressure.
ACTIVATING AGENT COMPOSITION FOR WATER PRESSURE TRANSFER, WATER PRESSURE TRANSFER METHOD AND WATER PRESSURE TRANSFER PRODUCT
In order to satisfy the requirements necessary for a plasticizer of an activating agent for water pressure transfer, to avoid concerns about environmental load and to prevent bubbles from being generated when a carrier film is removed, there is provided an activating agent composition for activating a print pattern layer of a transfer film for the water pressure transfer by applying it to the print pattern layer of the transfer film for water pressure transfer, the activating agent composition comprising a resin component, a solvent component and a plasticizer component, wherein the plasticizer component is a non-aromatic carboxylic acid ester or carboxylic acid ether ester having two or more carboxylate groups, and the molecular weight ratio obtained by dividing the sum of the molecular weights of the terminal side aliphatic hydrocarbon groups forming ester bonds and/or the furthest terminal side aliphatic hydrocarbon groups constituting ether bonds by the molecular weight of the carboxylic acid ester or carboxylic acid ether ester is 0.3 or more.
PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF A SUPPORTING SURFACE FOR FURNISHING ACCESSORIES AND SUPPORTING SURFACE
The process for the manufacturing of a supporting surface for furnishing accessories, in particular for tables and tops for kitchens and/or bathrooms, comprises the phases of: I providing a raw slab (2) made of raw ceramic material; II firing the raw slab (2) to obtain a fired slab (5); III modeling the fired slab (5) to obtain a shaped slab (6) comprising an exposed surface (8) and a lateral surface (9) transverse to the exposed surface (8); IV decorating the shaped slab (6) with ceramic pigments (12) to obtain a decorated slab (13) which is decorated on said lateral surface (9); V firing the decorated slab (13) and the ceramic pigments (12) to obtain a supporting surface (1) for furnishing accessories.
Method for manufacturing a decorative part
The automobile decorative-part (1) comprises a resin-compact (3) having a decorative-layer (2) on its surface-layer and comprises a clear-coat layer (4) for protecting said surface-layer, and that a high-gloss region (R1) of a relatively high-gloss level is mixed with a low-gloss region (R2) of a relatively low-gloss level on the surface of said decorative-part, and that a clear-coat paint is sprayed by an atomization-coating machine onto the surface of the decorative-layer (2), and that the atomization-coating machine contains an ester-based solvent of a low-boiling point as the main-solvent that has a boiling-point of 100 degrees Celsius or less and has a solid-content of 35 to 40 percent by mass, thus forming the clear-coat layer (4) that makes it partially possible to mat the gloss of the surface of the clear-coat layer, thus manufacturing a decorative-part with an excellent quality design.
TEMPORARY TATTOO DECALS USABLE AS DOSIMETERS
A temporary tattoo decal including: (a) a porous paper base; (b) a water soluble slip layer or a release coating on at least a first surface of the paper base; (c) a photochromic ink layer atop the slip layer or the release coating; and (d) a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer atop the photochromic ink layer, wherein the photochromic ink layer includes at least one photochromic material that is capable of changing its color when exposed to UV radiation and a polymer matrix in which the at least one photochromic material is distributed; and wherein the polymer matrix substantially prevents the ink material from degrading when covered with a sunscreen product and inhibits the photochromic ink from washing off when the sunscreen product covering the photochromic ink layer is washed off.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM BASED DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR COLORANTS, GLITTER, AND OTHER CHEMISTRIES
Casings, dye tablets, DIY activity-kits include one or more casings, one or more encased dye tablets, or a combination thereof, that are configured to impart an artistic effect to an article, hydrographic sheets, and dip and decorator activity-kits including one or more hydrographic sheets and an instruction for imparting an artistic effect to the article using the one or more hydrographic sheets. The casings include at least one compartment formed of a water-soluble film, and one or more agents disposed within the at least one compartment.
