A branch fishing rod assembly for creating a fishing rod out of a branch or stick includes a reel holder apparatus, a reel, and a plurality of eyelet apparatuses. The reel holder apparatus comprises a holder body and a pair of holder clamps coupled to the holder body to secure the holder body to a branch or a stick. The reel is selectively engageable within a reel opening of the holder body. The plurality of eyelet apparatuses each comprises an eyelet clamp to selectively engage the branch or the stick. An attachment arm is coupled to the eyelet clamp strap and an eyelet is coupled to the attachment arm. The reel is configured to secure a fishing line and the plurality of eyelet apparatuses is configured to receive the fishing line through each eyelet.

A heated fishing reel, a system for heating a fishing reel, and a heated handle assembly provide a means of warming the hands of a user. The heated fishing reel comprises a reel casing, a handle, a side plate, a power source disposed in the fishing reel to provide power for a heating element disposed within one of a reel casing of the fishing reel or a side plate of the fishing reel. The system for heating the fishing reel comprises a plurality of heating elements and a power source disposed in the fishing reel for providing power to the plurality of heating elements. The heated handle assembly comprises a rocker arm, a knob attached to a distal end of the rocker arm, a heating element disposed in the knob, and a power source mounted in the knob for heating the knob.

A fishing rod according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a rod body, and a fitting mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the rod body via a mounting portion of the fitting. A first fixing layer is formed to encircle the mounting portion and the rod body, and a second fixing layer is formed on the outer side of the first fixing layer. A coating layer made of a resin is formed on an outer side of the second fixing layer. In an embodiment, the coating layer is formed of a resin having a tensile elongation of 40% or more and a yield strain of 7% or more, both measured in conformity to JIS K 7161:2014, and the coating layer has a thickness of 1.3 mm or smaller.

An adjustable fishing rod butt includes a first elongate member hingeably attached to a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes an opening on a bottom surface thereof extending at least into an interior thereof, and an alignment locking member secured about the opening on the bottom surface thereof. The alignment locking member includes an opening coaxially aligned with the opening in the first elongate member. The second elongate member includes an adjustable reel seat portion on an upper surface, and an angle positioning arm extending from a bottom surface and oriented to be received by the openings in the first elongate member and the alignment locking member. A locking pin locks the angle positioning arm to provide the butt with a specific angular relationship.

An adjustable fishing rod butt includes a first elongate member hingeably attached to a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes an opening on a bottom surface thereof extending at least into an interior thereof, and an alignment locking member secured about the opening on the bottom surface thereof. The alignment locking member includes an opening coaxially aligned with the opening in the first elongate member. The second elongate member includes an adjustable reel seat portion on an upper surface, and an angle positioning arm extending from a bottom surface and oriented to be received by the openings in the first elongate member and the alignment locking member. A locking pin locks the angle positioning arm to provide the butt with a specific angular relationship.

A spinning reel handle system that includes a seat body with a hollow, rearward extending threaded neck. The seat body includes an upper curved surface, a concave lower surface and a rear neck cavity. Formed on the seat body are longitudinally aligned bores in which a blank is extended. Formed on the seat body are front and rear slots that receive the feet on a spinning reel. The system also includes a rotating nut with a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body is hollow and includes internal threads that engage the external threads on the neck. During assembly, the front and rear feet on the spinning reel are inserted into the front and rear slots. The nut is tightened onto the neck until it presses against the rear foot. The seat body includes a recessed void space that enables the fisherman to touch the blank with his thumb while gripping the seat body.

A spinning reel handle system that includes a seat body with a hollow, rearward extending threaded neck. The seat body includes an upper curved surface, a concave lower surface and a rear neck cavity. Formed on the seat body are longitudinally aligned bores in which a blank is extended. Formed on the seat body are front and rear slots that receive the feet on a spinning reel. The system also includes a rotating nut with a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body is hollow and includes internal threads that engage the external threads on the neck. During assembly, the front and rear feet on the spinning reel are inserted into the front and rear slots. The nut is tightened onto the neck until it presses against the rear foot. A clamp is configured to securely attach a reel assembly to a fishing rod that is not fitted with a reel seat. The clamp has a first portion that includes a plurality of first flanges and a first concave surface, the first concave surface configured to engage a first side of the fishing rod. The clamp further has at least two second portions each including a plurality of second flanges and a second concave surface, the second concave surface configured to engage a second side of the fishing rod, the second side opposite to the first side. The clamp further has a plurality of fasteners configured to engage the plurality of first flanges and the plurality of second flanges with the first portion positioned on the first side of the fishing rod and the at least two second portions positioned on the second side of the fishing rod.

A clamp is configured to securely attach a reel assembly to a fishing rod that is not fitted with a reel seat. The clamp has a first portion that includes a plurality of first flanges and a first concave surface, the first concave surface configured to engage a first side of the fishing rod. The clamp further has at least two second portions each including a plurality of second flanges and a second concave surface, the second concave surface configured to engage a second side of the fishing rod, the second side opposite to the first side. The clamp further has a plurality of fasteners configured to engage the plurality of first flanges and the plurality of second flanges with the first portion positioned on the first side of the fishing rod and the at least two second portions positioned on the second side of the fishing rod.

A fishing rod butt and reel seat assembly for use with a fishing reel and a rod blank. The fishing rod butt and reel seat assembly generally includes a cylindrical shaped rod having a first open end, a second open end, and a main length extending between the first and second open ends. The main length includes a handle section and a real seat section, wherein the handle section has a first outer diameter and the reel seat section has a second outer diameter, wherein the first outer diameter is greater than the second outer diameter thereby forming a shoulder at a transition between the handle section and reel seat section. The handle section includes a plurality of grooves longitudinally extending and equally spaced about a circumference of at least a portion of the handle section. The reel seat section includes retaining means for securing a fishing reel therein.
