Cam reel attachment
A grip assembly configured for fixing a reel to a fishing rod includes a front seat grip non-movably fixable to a fishing rod, a gear rack on the front seat grip, a sliding grip movably fixable to the fishing rod and configured to slide in an axial direction of the fishing rod so as to selectively engage the front seat grip, a lever pivotally connected to the sliding grip, and at least one tooth provided on the lever. When the lever is actuated from an open position to a locked position, the at least one tooth engages the gear rack and the lever pulls the sliding grip toward the front seat grip on the fishing rod.
Tension-adjusting fishing pole
The tension-adjusting fishing pole may comprise a rod blank, a rod handle, an activation handle, and a reel. The rod handle and the rod blank may couple together to form a fishing pole. The reel may be coupled to a reel seat on the rod handle such that the fishing pole and the reel may be operable to catch fish. The rod blank may comprise a hollow interior. A fluid may be forced into the hollow interior of the rod blank by operating the activation handle and may increase pressure within the rod blank to stiffen the rod blank. The pressure exerted by the fluid within the rod blank may be reduced to allow the rod blank to flex.
FISHING ROD INCLUDING ROD BODY HAVING FITTING MOUNTED THEREON
A fishing rod according to one embodiment includes a rod body extending in a front-and-back direction along a central axis, a fitting having a mounting part, where the mounting part is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the rod body at a first position determined in a circumferential direction around the central axis, and a fiber-reinforced resin layer surrounding the rod body so as to cover the mounting part. The fiber-reinforced resin layer has a first portion covering the rod body along an entire length thereof in the circumferential direction around the central axis and a second portion extending in the axial direction backward from an axially back end of the first portion and extending in the circumferential direction less than 180° clockwise from the first position and also less than 180° anti-clockwise from the first position.

Accessory Mount
An apparatus for securing an accessory to a device. The apparatus includes an elongated base, a clamp, and a lever. The clamp is defined at least in part by a first section disposed on the elongated base and a second section slidably coupled to the elongated base. The lever is operable for locking and un-locking the second section.

FISHING POLE HANDLE AND FISHING POLE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
A fishing pole handle including an elongate first portion that extends along a first axis and is configured to engage a foot of an attachable reel assembly, an elongate second portion that extends along a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis, the first and second portions constrained against relative movement in directions along the first axis, and a selectively engageable coupling mechanism between the first and second portions. The first and second portions are rotatably retainable to each other about the first axis through engagement of the coupling mechanism, and are relatively moveable about the first axis through disengagement of said coupling mechanism. Relative to each other about the first axis, the first and second portions are selectively moveable between alternative ones of a plurality of different radial orientations or rotatably retained to each other in one of the plurality of different radial orientations.

ADJUSTABLE BUTT AND REEL SEAT FOR A FISHING ROD
An adjustable fishing rod butt includes a first elongate member hingeably attached to a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes an opening on a bottom surface thereof extending at least into an interior thereof, and an alignment locking member secured about the opening on the bottom surface thereof. The alignment locking member includes an opening coaxially aligned with the opening in the first elongate member. The second elongate member includes an adjustable reel seat portion on an upper surface, and an angle positioning arm extending from a bottom surface and oriented to be received by the openings in the first elongate member and the alignment locking member. A locking pin locks the angle positioning arm to provide the butt with a specific angular relationship.
