A tire including: a circular tire frame that includes a polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer having a hard segment and a soft segment, the hard segment containing a copolymer of a dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms and a diamine having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, and the soft segment containing a polyamine; and a reinforcing cord layer that includes a reinforcing cord member wound around an outer circumferential portion of the tire frame along a tire circumferential direction at an average interval of from 0.4 mm to 3.2 mm in a tire width direction.

PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a pneumatic tire having excellent sealing performance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed of a generally string-shaped sealant provided continuously and spirally along the inner periphery of the tire.

PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a pneumatic tire in which a sealant layer entirely exhibits sufficient sealing performance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed by continuously and spirally applying a generally string-shaped sealant to the inner periphery of a tire in the tire width direction from one side to the other, the attachment start portion of the sealant being located tire-widthwise inward from the tire-widthwise end of the sealant layer.

PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a self-sealing tire that is excellent in the effect of reducing adhesion of foreign materials to the sealant layer, sealing performance, and road noise-reducing properties while maintaining the balance between them. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire, including: a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner; and a sound-absorbing layer located radially inside the sealant layer, the sound-absorbing layer being formed by applying a porous sound-absorbing material to the inner periphery of the sealant layer.

TIRE HAVING A CONDUCTIVITY PATH

A tire includes a body ply sheet having a rubber core defined by a top surface having a length and a width, a bottom surface having substantially the same length and width, and side surfaces having a common height. The rubber core is further defined by a top rubber layer and a bottom rubber layer. The body ply sheet includes reinforcement cords disposed between the top rubber layer and the bottom rubber layer. The reinforcement cords are spaced 0.1-4.0 mm apart from each other and span the width of the body ply sheet. Bleeder cords are disposed on the body ply sheet and spaced 8-12 cm apart from each other. Conductive cords are also disposed on the body ply and spaced 20-80 cm apart from each other.

A pneumatic tire is provided with a carcass configured from at least one carcass ply. The carcass ply is formed by arranging, in the tire circumferential direction, rectangular sheet-shaped ply pieces, each having a radial direction length larger than a tire circumferential direction length. In each of the ply pieces, carcass cords are arranged parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction, and adjacent ply pieces at least partially overlap with each other in the tire circumferential direction, and in each of the ply pieces, the distance (Pe) between the carcass cords in at least one side edge portion in the circumferential direction of the ply piece, is larger than the distance (Pc) between the carcass cords in a central portion of the ply piece.

A pneumatic tire 1 comprises a carcass 6 comprising at least one carcass ply 6A extending between bead portions 4 via sidewall portions 3 and a tread portion 2. The carcass ply 6A comprises strip-shaped ply pieces 11 longer in a tire radial direction than in a tire circumferential direction arranged circumferentially. Each of the ply pieces 11 comprises a plurality of carcass cords 12 arranged in parallel in the tire radial direction and at least partly overlapping each other with the ply pieces 11 circumferentially adjacent. At least one of the carcass cords 12 arranged in at least one of side edge portions 11e in the tire circumferential direction of each of the ply pieces 11 having a diameter (Ce) smaller than a diameter (Cc) of at least one of the carcass cords 12 arranged in a center portion 11c of each of the ply pieces 11.

A pneumatic tire can include a carcass, a belt layer, and reinforcing rubber layers. Turned-up portions of a carcass ply each include a first portion located between a body portion and the belt layer, a second portion adjacent to each reinforcing rubber layer in a tire axial direction, on an outer side in a tire radial direction with respect to a rim flange of a standardized rim, and a third portion located between the first portion and the second portion. A length of the third portion is 0.8 to 1.4 times a sum (La+Lb) of a length La of the first portion and a length Lb of the second portion.
