TIRE HAVING IMPROVED UNIFORMITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for manufacturing a tire comprising a carcass reinforcement comprising a carcass layer and a working reinforcement comprising a single working layer comprising forming, around a support, a wound carcass assembly (52) intended to form the carcass layer and a wound working assembly intended to form the working layer, and then deforming the support. The wound carcass assembly (52) is formed so as to form either a junction (56) by abutment without forming a superposition, or a junction (56) by overlapping, or without forming a junction.
TIRE
The present invention is directed to a tire comprising a tread, two sidewalls, a carcass and at least two belts arranged radially between the carcass and the tread in a crown area of the tire. The tread has at least one axially outer edge portion covering the axially outermost edge of at least one of the belts and comprising a different rubber composition than a portion of the tread neighboring the axially outer edge portion of the tread. Furthermore, one of the sidewalls at least partially covers and contacts the axially outer surface of the axially outer edge portion of the tread.
VEHICLE TIRE HAVING A BELT BANDAGE
The present invention relates to a vehicle tire comprising a belt bandage, wherein the belt bandage comprises strength members, wherein the strength members comprise hybrid cords arranged parallel to one another within the ply, and wherein the hybrid cords each contain at least one yarn made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and at least one yarn made of polyamide.
According to the invention the PET of the yarn of the hybrid cord of the belt bandage is recycled PET (rPET).
