In the first edge part, the rubberized cord strip extends in the tire circumferential direction at an angle smaller than that in the second part, and overlaps the rubberized cord strip in the second part.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer and belt layers including belt cords inclined with respect to a circumferential direction, the belt cords of different layers being arranged in a criss-cross manner. In at least one belt layer, an inclination angle ? of the belt cords with respect to the circumferential direction at a center position and an inclination angle ? of the belt cords with respect to the circumferential direction at a belt end position satisfy 15???<??35?. A maximum ground contact length L1 and a ground contact length L2 satisfy 0.8?L2/L1?1.0, where L1 is the maximum ground contact length in the circumferential direction, W1 is a maximum ground contact width in a radial direction, and L2 is the ground contact length in the circumferential direction at a position 40% of W1 from the center position outward in a lateral direction.
Pneumatic Tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire. Both terminals of a carcass layer are overlapped with each other in a tread region. The carcass layer has a triple layer structure including an inner layer positioned most inward in a tire radial direction in the tread region, an outer layer positioned most outward in the tire radial direction in the tread region, and an intermediate layer positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer in the tread region. A cord angle in the carcass layer in a tread central region with respect to a tire circumferential direction differs in at least one of the inner layer, the outer layer, and the intermediate layer from a cord angle in the carcass layer in a side region with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire having four belt plies laminated at an outside circumference of the carcass. Cords at second and third belt plies among the four belt plies, as numbered from the carcass to the outside circumference, intersect, being inclined in mutually opposite fashion with respect to a tire axis. Angles of inclination with respect to the tire circumferential direction of the second and third belt plies are such that an angle at a belt end is less than an angle at a tire equator. A first mounded region that has a peak at which the angle of inclination is greater than at a periphery and that corresponds to a shoulder rib which among the plurality of ribs is provided. The peak at the first mounded region is arranged at a shoulder rib region which appears to overlap the shoulder rib as seen in plan view.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire comprises a tread portion provided with a belt layer and a radially outer band layer. The belt layer comprises a first belt ply on a carcass 6 and a second belt ply thereon. The band layer is made of a spirally wound band cord and has a developed width smaller than that of the belt layer. In a meridian cross-section of the tire mounted on a standard wheel rim at an internal pressure of 10 kPa: the radius of curvature Rc of the ground contacting surface of the tire in its crown region is less than 95% of the cross-sectional width of the tire; and the radius of curvature Rc is smaller than a radius of curvature Rb of the ground contacting surface in shoulder regions.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a belt layer disposed in the tread portion. The average cord angle n and average cord count Nn of the belt layer are constant or gradually increases or decreases from a center position to shoulder positions. The ratio ns/nc of the average cord angle ns at the shoulder positions to the average cord angle nc at the center position is 1.30 or less. The ratio Nns/Nnc of the average cord count Nns at the shoulder positions to the average cord count Nnc in the center position is 0.77 or more.
Pneumatic tire for motorcycle
The present invention aims at providing a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle, capable of improving steering stability and wear resistance in a turning situation with maintaining good turning performance achieved by a relatively wide auxiliary belt layer. Specifically, the present invention provides a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle, characterized in that: the auxiliary belt layer is sectioned into a middle area Am overlapping a region where the belt layer is provided and respective side areas As each extending beyond the region where the belt layer is provided; the cords in the middle area Am extend at an inclination angle m in the range of 70 to 90 with respect to the tire circumferential direction; and the cords in each side area As extend, in at least a portion of the side area, at an inclination angle s different from the inclination angle m with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire has a carcass, four belt plies, a tread rubber, a plurality of main grooves and a rib. The plurality of main grooves and the rib being formed on a surface of the tread rubber. The cords of second and third belt plies of the four belt plies from the carcass toward the outer periphery are inclined in an opposite direction to each other relative to a tire axis, and are intersected with each other. An angle of incline of the cords of the second and third belt plies relative to the tire peripheral direction is smaller at an belt end than that at a tire equator. The angle of incline in a groove area overlapping the main grooves in plan view is greater than an angle of incline in rib areas at both sides of the groove area.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a tire 2, a band 16 has a jointless structure. A reinforcing layer 18 is layered over the band 16 from a radially outer side of the band 16. In the reinforcing layer 18, a reinforcing cord 40 is extended alternately on and between one end 32 portion of the band 16 and the other end 32 portion of the band 16, so as to extend in the circumferential direction. A direction in which the reinforcing cord 40 extends is tilted relative to the circumferential direction between one of ends 32 of the band 16 and the other of the ends 32 of the band 16. An absolute value of an angle of the reinforcing cord 40 relative to the circumferential direction is greater than or equal to 70.
