PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with a band layer disposed radially inside a tread rubber provided with a first circumferential groove. Cords of the band layer are a hybrid cord formed by twisting together a first filament and a second filament having an elastic modulus lower than that of the first filament. In a region radially inside the first circumferential groove, a maximum thickness t1 of topping rubber on the radially outer side of the band cords is not more than 1.0 mm; a minimum distance d1 from the bottom of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 2.0 mm; and a distance d2 from a groove edge of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 15.0 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR HEAVY LOADS
A pneumatic tire for heavy loads comprising a bead core, a bead filler arranged on the outside in a tire radial direction of the lead core, a steel cord-containing carcass ply wound up on the outside from the inside in a fire axis direction around the bead core, a steel cord-containing chafer provided so as to cover the carcass ply from the inside in the tire radial direction, and a reinforcing sheet comprising a rubber and a cotton kneaded therein and interposed between the bead core and the carcass ply. The tire can improve durability of a bead part.
TIRE
Provided is a tire that is lightweight and excellent in riding characteristics while suppressing an increase in cost.
A plurality of belt layers 7 are superimposed in a radial direction. The belt layers 7 include a plurality of steel cords 10 arranged in parallel in a row and rubber 11. The steel cords 10 have a 14 structure in which four filaments 20 are twisted, and when a center-to-center distance between the steel cords 10 in at least two of the belt layers 7 adjacent in the radial direction is T, and an average diameter of virtual circumscribed circles of the steel cords 10 having the 14 structure is D, 1.25T/D2.25.
Pneumatic tire having a jointless band ply and method for manufacturing same
To increase a restraining force to a belt layer and to improve the durability of the tire. A band layer of a spirally wound band-like ply includes: a first ply portion extending from a starting end located between the tire equator and one end in the tire axial direction of a belt layer to the one end in the tire axial direction of the belt layer; a second ply portion extending from the one end in the tire axial direction of the first ply portion to the other end in the tire axial direction of the belt layer; and a third ply portion extending from the other end in the tire axial direction of the second ply portion to a terminal end located between the tire equator and the other end in the tire axial direction of the second ply portion. The band-like ply is continuous from the starting end to the terminal end without interruption.
