Optimized Architecture of a Civil Engineering Tire
A radial tire (1) for a heavy-duty vehicle, with at least two working layers (321, 322, 323, 324) in which the reinforcing elements form an angle at least equal to 10? and at most equal to 45? with the circumferential direction. The metal reinforcers of all of the crown layers of the crown reinforcement are extensible and therefore have, in their rubberized state extracted from a polymer matrix, a structural elongation As at least equal to 0.5%, a total elongation at break At at least equal to 3% and a tensile Young's modulus E at most equal to 150 GPa. The narrower of the two working layers has an axial width at least equal to 60% of the width of the tread and the wider of the two working layers has an axial width at least equal to 70% of the width of the tread.
TIRE
In a tire, a tire outer diameter OD is in a range 200 mmOD660 mm. A total tire width SW is in a range 100 mmSW400 mm. A carcass layer is formed by layering two layers of carcass plies formed by covering organic fiber cords with coating rubbers. The organic fiber cords of the two layers of the carcass plies have cord angles in a range of 80 degrees or more and 100 degrees or less with respect to a tire circumferential direction. A tensile strength Tcs per a width of 50 mm of each of the two layers of the carcass plies (13A, 13B) is in a range 17 N/mmTcs/OD120 N/mm with respect to the tire outer diameter OD.
Pneumatic tire
This pneumatic tire (1) includes: a pair of bead cores (11, 11); a carcass layer (13) extending between the pair of bead cores (11, 11); and a belt layer (14) including a laminate of at least four belt plies (141 to 144) having steel belt cords covered with coating rubber, the belt layer being disposed on the outer side in a tire radial direction of the carcass layer (13). An inter-cord distance (Ga) between an outermost layer belt ply (fourth belt (144)) and an adjacent belt ply (third belt (143)) has a relationship such that 0.80Ga/max1.80 with respect to a maximum value (max) of outer diameters (4, 3) of belt cords (1441, 1431) in the outermost layer belt ply (144) and the adjacent belt ply (143).
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire has a carcass, a belt and a profiled tread. The belt includes four belt plies wherein the third belt ply and the fourth belt ply are working plies. The reinforcement members of the working plies are arranged at an angle to the circumferential direction of 10 to 45 and the reinforcement members of the fourth belt ply at an angle of 10 to 45. The reinforcement members of the third and fourth belt plies are arranged such that they cross one another. The reinforcement members of the first belt ply are arranged at an angle of 40 to 75 and the reinforcement members of the second belt ply are arranged at an angle of 0 to 5 to the circumferential direction. The reinforcement members of the third belt ply and the reinforcement members of the first belt ply have the same direction of inclination.
Tire With Steel Cord-Containing Ply
Disclosed herein are vehicle tires including a carcass with at least one body ply, a tread disposed radially outward of the carcass, and a belt component comprising a steel cord-containing ply positioned radially between the tread and the carcass. The steel cord-containing ply comprises rubber reinforced with steel warp cords having a specified diameter and EASL. Also disclosed is a vehicle tire containing two belt components comprising a steel cord-containing ply, each belt component positioned radially between the tread and the carcass.
Tire With Single Steel Cord-Containing Ply Having Bi-Axially Woven Cords
Disclosed herein are vehicle tires including a tread, a carcass with at least one body ply, and a single steel cord-containing belt ply positioned radially inward of the tread and radially outward of the carcass. The single steel cord-containing belt ply comprises rubber reinforced with steel warp cords bi-axially woven with steel weft cords and have a specified bi-axial angle. Also disclosed is a vehicle tire containing the single steel cord-containing belt ply wherein the belt ply includes pick cords connecting the steel warp cords and steel weft cords.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A cord of a band of a tire has a single-stranded structure in which steel filaments are stranded, and the number of the filaments is not less than three and not greater than six. In a cross-section of the cord, when represents a diameter of a smallest circle that surrounds cross-sections of the filaments, and represents a diameter of each filament, a gap is formed between the filaments such that the diameter is not less than three times the diameter and not greater than six times the diameter in the case of the number of the filaments being three or four. An initial elongation of the cord is not less than 0.1% and not greater than 1.5%.
TIRE CORD
The present disclosure relates to a tire cord. The tire cord includes a polyester drawn yarn containing recycled polyethylene terephthalate. The tire cord may exhibit excellent physical properties industrially required while including eco-friendly materials.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with a band layer disposed radially inside a tread rubber provided with a first circumferential groove. Cords of the band layer are a hybrid cord formed by twisting together a first filament and a second filament having an elastic modulus lower than that of the first filament. In a region radially inside the first circumferential groove, a maximum thickness t1 of topping rubber on the radially outer side of the band cords is not more than 1.0 mm; a minimum distance d1 from the bottom of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 2.0 mm; and a distance d2 from a groove edge of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 15.0 mm.
