TIRE WITH VARIABLE SHEAR ELEMENT
A tire includes a central region configured to be mounted to a wheel and a crown region including a circumferential tread and a shear element disposed below the circumferential tread. The shear element includes an upper reinforcement layer, a lower reinforcement layer, and an elastic region disposed between the upper reinforcement layer and the lower reinforcement layer. A radial distance between the upper reinforcement layer and the lower reinforcement layer varies along an axial width of the tire. The tire also includes an intermediate region extending from the central region to the crown region.
CORD FABRIC FOR TIRE REINFORCEMENT
A tire reinforcement fabric is woven with predipped and heat-set single cords as warp bound together with weft materials, and a pneumatic tire includes a tire reinforcement fabric. The tire reinforcement fabric is obtained by weaving individually dipped cords as warp material and a plurality of any kind of weft materials.
TIRE
The bead portion of the pneumatic tire includes a bead structure having a bead core composed of bead cords, and an annular plate which is annular and extends to the tire circumferential direction and is formed of a resin material. The elastic modulus of the annular plate varies in tire radial direction.
Pneumatic tire
The pneumatic tire according to the disclosure includes a resin-coated belt comprising a wire coated with a coating resin. A base ring is formed at a tire radial inside of the resin-coated belt, while being in contact with a tire widthwise outer end of the resin-coated belt. A concavo-convex portion is formed on at least one of surfaces of the base ring.
Radial tire for aircraft
A radial tire for an aircraft, the radial tire having a rim diameter of 20 inches or less includes a pair of bead portions; a pair of sidewall portions extending outward from the bead portions in a substantially radial direction; a tread portion that couples together respective radial outer ends of the sidewall portions; a toroidal carcass layer reinforcing a portion between bead cores embedded in the bead portions; a belt layer and a tread that are sequentially laminated on an outer side of the carcass layer in the radial direction, wherein a value M obtained by dividing a tire external diameter D by a distance L between bead heels of the bead portions is in a range of from 4.1 to 5.4.
COMPOSITE CORD AND TIRE USING SAME
A composite cord is composed of two first strands formed of aramid fibers and one second strand formed of nylon fibers. In a cross section perpendicular to a length direction, a ratio L2/L0 of a length L2 of an exposed surface of the second strand along the outer cord periphery to a length L0 of an exposed surface of the composite cord along the outer cord periphery is in a range of 0.30 or more and 0.40 or less.
TIRE
In a tire, a tread includes a cap layer, an intermediate layer formed such that a loss tangent of the intermediate layer at 30° C. is less than a loss tangent of the cap layer at 30° C., and a base layer formed such that a loss tangent of the base layer at 30° C. is less than the loss tangent of the intermediate layer at 30° C. The intermediate layer is disposed outwardly of the base layer and the cap layer is disposed outwardly of the intermediate layer, in the radial direction. An outer end of the intermediate layer is disposed outwardly of an outer end of the base layer and an outer end of the cap layer is disposed inwardly of the outer end of the intermediate layer, in the axial direction. A difference between an axial width of the cap layer and an axial width of the base layer is not less than −10 mm and not greater than 10 mm.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided where a profile line in a tire meridian cross section of a center land portion defined by circumferential grooves and located on a tire equator is curved projecting outward in a tire radial direction. A carcass layer and a reinforcing layer include a recess portion curved projecting inward in the tire radial direction in a bottom region of the center land portion.
TIRE WITH PROTECTIVE BELT STRUCTURE
A tire having a jointless cut protector belt, wherein the jointless cut protector belt is continuously wound using a strip of one or more reinforcement cords, wherein the strip of one or more reinforcement cords is wavy, extending primarily in the circumferential direction, and preferably wound in a sine wave pattern.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a mesh reinforcing layer formed from a tape wound circumferentially of the tire plural turns while repeating a zigzag unit comprising two inclined portion so that a number N of the repeated zigzag units are arranged while shifting in the tire circumferential direction and partly overlapping with each other. The amount of positional shift between the circumferentially adjacent zigzag units is in a range from 0.7 to 1.3 times a value of 360/N in terms of the angle α around the tire rotational axis.
