Run-Flat Tire
A run-flat tire includes: sipes formed in blocks; a belt reinforcing layer on an outer side in a radial direction of a belt layer; and a side reinforcing rubber in sidewall portions, wherein a density of the sipes in a center block is from 0.10 cords/mm or greater to 0.30 cords/mm or smaller, the belt reinforcing layer includes a center reinforcing portion in which more center reinforcing portions are stacked at a center region than at positions other than the center region, a width Wc of the center reinforcing portion is within 0.5 Gr≤Wc≤2.5 Gr with respect to a thickness Gr of the side reinforcing rubber at the tire maximum width position, and an average width of the width Wc of the center reinforcing portion is from 50% or greater to 90% or smaller of a width of the center block.
TIRE
A belt of a tire is configured with two resin-covered cords that are wound in a spiral pattern onto a carcass ply. Each of the resin-covered cords is configured by covering a reinforcing cord with a covering resin, and has a cross-section profile in a tire axial direction that is trapezoidal shape. The belt is configured by winding one of the resin-covered cords with its upper base side at a tire radial direction outer side, and winding the other of the resin-covered cords with its upper base side at the tire radial direction inner side between portions of the one of the resin-covered cords. Thus, join portions that are inclined toward different sides in the tire axial direction are alternately formed at a tire radial direction inner side along the tire axial direction in the belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RESIN-COATED BELT
Provided is a pneumatic tire according to the present disclosure that is a pneumatic tire comprising, in a tread portion, an annular resin-coated belt comprising a cord and a coating resin with which the cord is coated, and the resin-coated belt comprises an easy-to-deform part having a thickness in a tire radial direction smaller than that of a surrounding part thereof.
TIRE
A tire includes an annular tire structural member in which a resin-covered cord, configured by covering a reinforcing cord with a resin including a protrusion formed on a side face, is wound in a spiral shape with the resin at one portion of the resin-covered cord integrally bonded to the resin at another mutually adjacent portion of the resin-covered cord.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire including a pair of bead cores, a carcass that is formed spanning the pair of bead cores, a belt layer that is formed at a tire radial direction outside of the carcass by winding a covered cord, which is formed by covering a cord with a resin, in a spiral pattern, and a reinforcing member that is disposed at a tire radial direction outside of the belt layer so as to straddle a tire width direction end portion of the belt layer.
RESIN-METAL COMPOSITE MEMBER FOR TIRE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND TIRE
A resin-metal composite member for a tire comprises a metal member (27) and a coating resin layer (28) that covers the metal member (27) and contains a resin composition. The resin composition includes a thermoplastic elastomer, at least one additive resin selected from an amorphous resin having an ester bond or a polyester-based thermoplastic resin, and at least one chemical selected from a carbodiimide compound, a polyfunctional epoxy compound, or a polyfunctional amino compound.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire according to the present disclosure is a pneumatic tire comprising an annular rubber-coated belt including a cord and a coating rubber with which the cord is coated, and comprises a resin layer located inside or outside the rubber-coated belt in a tire radial direction, and having an elastic modulus larger than an elastic modulus of the coating rubber, and a cushion material interposed in at least a space between an outer end of one of the rubber-coated belt and the resin layer in a tire width direction and the other one of the rubber-coated belt and the resin layer, and having an elastic modulus smaller than the elastic modulus of the coating rubber.
TEXTILE COAT RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR A TIRE AND A TIRE COMPRISING A TEXTILE COAT RUBBER COMPOSITION
In accordance with the invention, a textile cord coat composition for a tire comprises from 70 to 90 phr cis 1,4-polyisoprene rubber, from 10 to 30 phr styrene butadiene rubber, from 25 to 45 phr carbon black, the latter comprising between 1 and 6 phr high surface area carbon black having a BET surface area of more than 700 m.sup.2/g. Moreover, the invention is directed to a textile reinforced ply and a tire comprising such a textile cord coat composition.
METAL-RESIN COMPOSITE MEMBER FOR TIRES, AND TIRE
A metal-resin composite member for tires, the metal-resin composite member comprising: a metal cord; and a resin layer, wherein: the resin layer is formed from a resin mixture that contains a polyester thermoplastic elastomer and an ester bond-containing amorphous resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 40 C. or higher, and a content ratio of the amorphous resin is not higher than 50% by mass of the resin mixture.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a carcass, an intersecting belt layer, and a restraining member. The carcass spans from one bead portion to another bead portion. The intersecting belt layer is arranged at an outer circumferential side of the carcass and is configured including plural belt plies each configured by covering a row of plural mutually parallel belt cords with a resin, such that the belt cords of one of adjacent belt plies and the belt cords of the other of the adjacent belt plies intersect each other. The restraining member is arranged adjacent to end portions of the belt plies so as to restrain movement of the end portions.
