The first end 15a is connected to the first shoulder circumferential groove 5. The second end 15b is connected to one of the bend grooves 15 next in one of two opposite circumferential directions. Each bend groove 15 has two bent portions 16 and 17 at which the groove is bent. The bent angle θ1 at the first bent portion 16 is greater than the bent angle θ2 at the second bent portion 17.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion provided with an outer main groove, an inner main groove, and a middle main groove. Each of the main grooves has a pair of groove edges arranged on both sides in a tyre axial direction and extending in a tyre circumferential direction. At least one of the groove edges includes circumferential portions extending in the tyre circumferential direction and axial portions inclined at larger angles than the circumferential portions with respect to the tyre circumferential direction. When an axial portion total length is a sum of axial lengths of the axial portions included in the main grooves, an axial portion total lengths L1, L2, and L3 of the outer main groove, the middle main groove, and the inner main groove, respectively, satisfy Expressions (1) and (2) shown below;
L1>L3 Ex. (1)
L1≥L2≥L3 Ex. (2).
Tire with enhanced tread
A tire includes medial knobs and lateral knobs in right and left zones extending around the circumference. The tire includes a central zone in between two arrays of medial knobs. The central zone may include no knobs or knobs with a height less than 50% of the height of the lateral knobs.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is a tire including, in a tread surface, a plurality of land portions partitioned by a circumferential main groove extending continuously in a tire circumferential direction, on at least one side in a tire width direction, and comprising, in an internal land portion located in a vehicle-installed inside half portion to a tire equatorial plane among the plurality of land portions, an internal resonator including a first auxiliary groove that terminates in the internal land portion, and a first branch groove that communicates between the first auxiliary groove and the circumferential main groove, and in the first branch groove, a hidden groove having an opening width in the tread surface that is smaller than a groove width of a groove bottom is provided adjacent to the first auxiliary groove.
TIRE
A first lateral groove and a second lateral groove are formed in a pneumatic tire. A first inclined portion is formed on one side of the first lateral groove in the tire circumferential direction, and a second inclined portion is formed on the other side of the second lateral groove in the tire circumferential direction. The first inclined portion is inclined from tire radial direction outside to tire radial direction inside by chamfering the end of one side circumferential block in the tire circumferential direction. The second inclined portion is inclined from tire radial direction outside to tire radial direction inside by chamfering the end of the other side circumferential block in the tire circumferential direction. The first inclined portion crosses the circumferential block and communicates with the circumferential groove. One end portion of the second inclined portion in the tire width direction terminates in the circumferential direction block.
Tyre for vehicle wheels
A tire for vehicle wheels comprises a tread band (2), on which a first circumferential rib (14) is formed, on which a plurality of first notches (20) are formed, which extend as a whole over at least 80% of the width of the first circumferential rib and each of which comprises: ⋅ i. a first portion (21) which is substantially rectilinear and has a first inclination with respect to a circumferential direction, ⋅ ii. a second portion (22) which is substantially rectilinear and has a second inclination with respect to the circumferential direction having a sign opposite to said first inclination, and ⋅ iii. a connecting portion (23) that extends between said first portion and said second portion; respective pluralities of the second and the third notches (30; 40), which are blind and substantially parallel to the first (21) and the second portion (22), respectively, of said first notches (20), are further formed on the first circumferential rib (14).
TIRE
A lug groove and a sipe formed in an outside shoulder land portion are inclined in a first predetermined direction, a lug groove and a sipe formed in an outside second land portion are inclined in a second predetermined direction. A lug groove formed in a center land portion is inclined in the second predetermined direction, a sipe formed in the center land portion is inclined in the first predetermined direction. A lug groove formed in an inside second land portion is inclined in a first predetermined direction, a sipe formed in the inside second land portion is inclined in a second predetermined direction. A lug groove and a sipe formed in an inside shoulder land portion are inclined in a first predetermined direction, the lug groove formed in the inside second land portion and the lug groove formed in the inside shoulder land portion are formed by offsetting.
Tire
A tire having a tread portion with a designated mounting direction. An outer shoulder land portion has outer shoulder lateral grooves. An inner shoulder land portion has inner shoulder lateral grooves. Each outer shoulder lateral groove includes a first outer portion extending in a tire axial direction at an outer tread edge side, and a second outer portion that connects the first outer portion to an outer shoulder main groove and that has a smaller groove width and groove depth than the first outer portion. Each inner shoulder lateral groove has a tie bar raised at a groove bottom thereof. The tie bar is connected to the inner shoulder main groove.
TIRE
On a tread of tire, an inclined width direction groove, a plurality of zigzag sipes, an inclined width direction groove and a plurality of zigzag sipes are repeatedly formed in the tire circumferential direction. The inclined width direction groove communicates with the circumferential direction groove, one end of the sipe portion communicates with the narrow groove portion, and the other end of the sipe portion terminates in the rib-like block without communicating with the circumferential direction groove. The inclined width direction groove communicates with the circumferential direction groove, one end of the sipe portion communicates with the narrow groove portion, and the other end of the sipe portion terminates in the rib-like block without communicating with the circumferential direction groove.
TIRE
The tire can have a tread portion. The tread portion can include a first shoulder circumferential groove and a first shoulder land portion. In the first shoulder land portion, a plurality of first shoulder lateral grooves can be disposed. At least one of the first shoulder lateral grooves can include an inner end connected to the first shoulder circumferential groove, a maximum groove width portion, and an outer portion. The maximum groove width portion can be at almost the center, in a tire axial direction, of a ground contact surface of the first shoulder land portion. A groove width at the inner end and a groove width, on a first tread end, of the first shoulder lateral groove can each be less than the maximum groove width. A groove width of the outer portion can be reduced outward in the tire axial direction.
