A tire comprises a tread portion having at least one main groove extending in a zigzag manner in a tire circumferential direction. The main groove includes first inclined portions and second inclined portions arranged alternately in the tire circumferential direction. The first inclined portions are inclined in a first direction and the second inclined portions are inclined in a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to the tire circumferential direction. A length of each of the first inclined portions is larger than a length of each of the second inclined portions. The main groove is provided in a groove bottom thereof with projecting portions extending in a groove width direction of the main groove. The projecting portions includes first projecting portions arranged in the first inclined portions.

A tire comprising a tread comprising a plurality of main grooves (1) arranged on each side of a midplane X-X′, each of these main grooves (1) opening axially to the outside of the tread and extending axially towards the midplane X-X′ so that the plurality of main grooves forms a pattern in the overall shape of a V. Above and beyond a determined certain degree of wear, at least one additional groove (3) appears between two circumferentially adjacent main grooves (N−1, N), the additional groove running parallel overall to the main grooves (N−1, N).

A pneumatic tire includes, on a tread surface, a plurality of circumferential main grooves extending in the tread circumferential direction, and a plurality of land portions defined by circumferential main grooves adjacent in the tread width direction among the plurality of circumferential main grooves, or by the circumferential main grooves and tread edges. A widthwise groove (widthwise sipe) (circumferential sipe) includes a widened portion, on the groove bottom side (sipe bottom side), at which the groove width (sipe width) is larger than on the tread surface side. In a tire radial direction region including at least a reference depth position, the storage modulus of first tread rubber, which is a groove wall surface layer defined by the widened portion and covering at least part of the widened portion, is larger than the storage modulus of second tread rubber located in a region around the first tread rubber.

A rib-like land section partitioned by main grooves, a plurality of sub-grooves provided in the rib-like land section at intervals in the tire circumferential direction and a groove hole provided between the sub-grooves adjacent to each other and extending in the tire circumferential direction are provided in a tread section. The sub-groove includes a lateral groove portion, in which one end opens to the main groove and the other end terminates inside the rib-like land section, and a longitudinal groove portion extending from the other end of the lateral groove portion to one side in the tire circumferential direction and terminating inside the rib-like land section. The groove hole is formed so that a groove depth at one end part close to a terminal end of the longitudinal groove portion becomes shallower than a groove depth at the other end part far from the terminal end.

A pneumatic tire includes first and second pairs of main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction; and auxiliary grooves disposed in land portions located between the first and second main grooves which open to the corresponding first main groove or the corresponding second main groove and terminate within the corresponding land portion. Each of the auxiliary grooves includes a first auxiliary groove that extends from the opening portion to the bent portion and a second auxiliary groove that extends from the bent portion to the terminating end. A length a of the first auxiliary groove and a length b of the second auxiliary groove have the relationship 0.3a<b<0.8a. The angle θ made by the first auxiliary groove and the second auxiliary groove at the bent portion is in the range 0°<θ<90°.

A tire includes a tread portion that includes a first circumferential groove and a first land portion. A groove bottom portion of the first circumferential groove includes a groove bottom reference surface and a plurality of projections projecting outwardly in a tire radial direction from the groove bottom reference surface. The first land portion has at least one first lateral groove extending from the first circumferential groove and terminating within the first land portion. In a tread plan view, an entirety of a first lateral groove extension region obtained by extending a connection portion of the first lateral groove at the first circumferential groove to the groove bottom portion of the first circumferential groove so as to be parallel to a tire axial direction is formed on the groove bottom reference surface.

A main object is to provide a tire that suppresses snow clogging of sipes. The tire includes a tread portion. The tread portion includes a first land portion demarcated by circumferential grooves continuously extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of first lateral grooves inclined in a first direction relative to a tire axial direction and traversing the first land portion. The first land portion includes a plurality of first blocks demarcated by the first lateral grooves. Each first block has at least one sipe inclined in a second direction opposite to the first direction, relative to the tire axial direction. The sipe includes a portion deeper than a maximum depth of the first lateral groove, and a portion shallower than the maximum depth of the first lateral groove.
