PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire has a tread including: a first circumferential groove which is closest to a center in a tire width direction among a plurality of circumferential grooves; center land portions placed adjacent to the first circumferential groove at a side near the center in the tire width direction, and a lug groove which extends between a plurality of the center land portions, and which opens to a side near the first circumferential groove. A bridge having a bottom surface which is bulged is formed at a portion of the lug groove near the first circumferential groove. The bridge has a cross-sectional shape of a trapezoid with tapered surfaces in which side surfaces of the lug groove at an end near a center in a longitudinal direction and an end near the first circumferential groove are inclined with heights thereof reduced toward corresponding ends of the bridge.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire according to an embodiment has a tread including a circumferential groove, and a lug groove connected to the circumferential groove and extending from a first side in a tire width direction to a second side. The tire includes two first raised portions formed in the circumferential groove on a groove bottom at a positions either side of an end of the lug groove on a side near the circumferential groove, a second raised portion formed on a groove bottom of a portion of the lug groove on a side near the circumferential groove, and a third raised portion formed at an intersection of the circumferential groove with an extension of the lug groove, on at least a part of a groove bottom of a portion surrounded in three directions by the two first raised portions and the second raised portion.
Tire
A tire includes a tread portion including four circumferential grooves between outboard and inboard tread edges, and five land portions divided by the circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves include an inboard shoulder circumferential groove located nearest to the inboard tread edge in the circumferential grooves. The land portions include an inboard shoulder land portion disposed axially outward of the inboard shoulder circumferential groove and having a ground contact surface with the smallest axial width in the land portions. The inboard shoulder land portion is provided with inboard shoulder lateral grooves and inboard shoulder sipes. The inboard shoulder lateral grooves include inner ends away from the inboard shoulder circumferential groove. The inboard shoulder lateral grooves extend axially outward from the inner ends to a location beyond the inboard tread edge. The inboard shoulder sipes extends from the inboard shoulder circumferential groove to a location beyond the inboard tread edge.
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire having a tread divided by circumferential grooves, which have a profile depth (T), into block rows running in encircling fashion in a circumferential direction and/or profile ribs which are structured in the manner of profile blocks. Block rows are divided by transverse grooves into blocks and, like the profile ribs structured in the manner of profile blocks, are equipped with blind grooves proceeding from the circumferential grooves. Transverse and/or blind grooves are provided which, owing to a connection of blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and/or of the block-like structures, have a depth smaller than profile depth (T). The connection has at least two connection steps of different heights, the lowest is formed in each case at the region in which the transverse grooves and/or blind grooves open into the circumferential grooves.
TIRE COMPRISING A TREAD
A tire comprises a directional tread (10), said tread comprising a central axis (12) and two edges (14A, 14B) a tread width W being greater than or equal to 140 mm, said tread (10) comprising a plurality of patterns (13) which succeed one another in the circumferential direction, each pattern having a pitch P, the patterns (13) delimiting a plurality of oblique grooves (16A, 16B), each oblique groove extending from one of the edges (14A, 14B) of the tread as far as the central axis (12). In a central part of the tread centered on the central axis (12) and of a width corresponding to 80% of the width W of said tread, all or some of the oblique grooves (16A, 16B) of the plurality of oblique grooves have a prescribed slenderness ratio, and all or some of the patterns comprise at least one sipe and have a prescribed sipes density SD.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion being provided with two circumferential grooves extending in a tyre circumferential direction to form a crown land portion therebetween. The crown land portion is provided with two or more crown grooves extending inwardly of the crown land portion from the respective circumferential grooves. Each crown groove includes wide-width regions and narrow-width regions having a groove width smaller than that of the wide-width regions, and the wide-width regions and the narrow-width regions are alternated.
Tyre for winter
A tyre for winter comprises a tread portion 2 having a first tread edge (Te1) and a second tread edge (Te2) and sipes 40 provided in at least a part of the tread portion 2. The tread portion 2 is provided with a plurality of first oblique grooves (10A) each extending obliquely from the first tread edge (Te1) toward the second tread edge (Te2). Each of the first oblique grooves (10A) has an inner end (10a) terminating between a tyre equator (C) and the second tread edge (Te2). The inner end (10a) is not connected with other grooves.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire according to the present embodiment includes a shoulder main groove that is disposed on one side in a width direction from a tire equatorial plane and extends in a tire circumferential direction, a shoulder land portion that is formed between a ground contact end and the shoulder main groove, and a plurality of slits that divide the shoulder land portion into a plurality of blocks in the tire circumferential direction. The shoulder main groove is formed of a zigzag groove in which an inward bent portion and an outward bent portion are alternately and repeatedly disposed, and angles of the slits with respect to the tire width direction are provided to be 10 degrees or less.
Tire with a directional tread comprising curved blocks with chamfers
