This pneumatic tire includes, on a tread surface, land portions defined by tread edges and by circumferential main grooves extending continuously in the tread circumferential direction; central sipes, in a central land portion on a tire equatorial plane, extending in the tread width direction and formed at a predetermined pitch length, the central land portion being continuous in the tread circumferential direction between adjacent central sipes; and intermediate sipes, in intermediate land portions adjacent to the central land portion on both sides in the tread width direction with the circumferential main grooves therebetween, extending in the tread width direction and being formed at a predetermined pitch length, each intermediate land portion being continuous in the tread circumferential direction between adjacent intermediate sipes. The pitch length of the intermediate sipes is longer than that of the central sipes, and both ends of the central sipes open into the circumferential main grooves.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion 2 provided with a circumferential land region 6 provided with a plurality of combined sipes 35 (36, 37). The combined sipes 35 (36, 37) are each composed of a straight portion 34 extending from one edge toward the other edge of the circumferential land region 6, and an arc-shaped portion 33 extending from the straight portion 34 to the other edge of the circumferential land region 6. The combined sipes 35 include a first combined sipe 36 in which the maximum depth of its arc-shaped portion 33 is larger than the maximum depth of its straight portion 34, and a second combined sipe 37 in which the maximum depth of its straight portion 34 is larger than the maximum depth of its arc-shaped portion 33.
Pneumatic tire
To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving rut running performance. In a pneumatic tire according to an embodiment, a shoulder block provided in a shoulder region of a tread portion is provided with a plurality of sipes which are formed at intervals in a tire circumferential direction to extend in a tire width direction. In the plurality of sipes, a dimple is provided on an outside in the tire width direction in relation to each tire ground contact end in a communication state. The dimple includes a portion formed with a wide width from a connection portion with the sipe toward the outside in the tire width direction and maximum width portions of the plurality of dimples are disposed to be offset in the tire width direction.
Radial tire for aircraft
A radial tire for an aircraft, the radial tire having a rim diameter of 20 inches or less includes a pair of bead portions; a pair of sidewall portions extending outward from the bead portions in a substantially radial direction; a tread portion that couples together respective radial outer ends of the sidewall portions; a toroidal carcass layer reinforcing a portion between bead cores embedded in the bead portions; a belt layer and a tread that are sequentially laminated on an outer side of the carcass layer in the radial direction, wherein a value M obtained by dividing a tire external diameter D by a distance L between bead heels of the bead portions is in a range of from 4.1 to 5.4.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes two circumferential main grooves disposed in an inner half of a tread developed width in a tire lateral direction; shoulder lug grooves that divide shoulder land portions into shoulder block portions and that each include a see-through portion in the tire lateral direction; and center lug grooves that divide a center land portion into a plurality of center block portions. The center lug grooves each include: two end groove portions opening to the innermost circumferential main grooves and one center groove portion that extends between the end groove portions, has at least a part disposed on a tire equator line, and has an angle θ.sub.1 with respect to the tire equator line satisfying −45°≤θ.sub.1≤+15°.
TIRE
A tire includes a tread portion including first and second tread edges, circumferential grooves, and land portions. The land portions include a crown land portion, a first middle land portion, and a second middle land portion. Under a 50% loaded condition, the first middle land portion, the crown land portion, and the second middle land portion respectively have axial widths W1m, Wc, and W2m of ground contact surfaces, the widths satisfying the following formula, W1m>Wc>W2m. The crown land portion includes an outer ground contact surface and an inner ground contact surface. The outer ground contact surface and the inner ground contact surface respectively have widths Wco and Wci in the tire axial direction, the widths satisfying the following formula, Wco>Wci.
TIRE
A tire for which a mounting direction to a vehicle is specified, has a tread portion axially divided into five land portions each provided with sipes. The five land portions are a first shoulder land portion, a first middle land portion, a crown land portion, a second middle land portion, and a second shoulder land portion having ground contacting surface widths W1s, W1m, Wc, W2m and W2s, respectively, which satisfy the following condition: W1s>W1m>Wc>W2m=>W2s under a 50% load state of the tire.
Motorcycle tire and pair of motorcycle tires
A motorcycle tyre has a tread band including a central portion and two shoulder portions arranged at axially opposite sides of the central portion. The central portion includes a first plurality of grooves extended according to a substantially longitudinal direction and alternatively arranged at opposite sides of the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each groove of the first plurality of grooves has a substantially curvilinear course such as to form a concavity. The central portion further includes a sub-portion substantially free of grooves placed astride the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each of the shoulder portions includes a second plurality of grooves arranged obliquely relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre.
TIRE
A tire includes a tread portion including an outside tread edge located outwardly of a vehicle when being mounted to the vehicle, an inside tread edge located inwardly of a vehicle when being mounted to the vehicle, circumferential grooves extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction, and lateral grooves. The circumferential grooves includes an outside shoulder circumferential groove, an outside crown circumferential groove, an inside crown circumferential groove and an inside shoulder circumferential groove which are arranged in this order from the outside tread edge side to the inside tread edge side, and a groove width W1 of the outside shoulder circumferential groove, a groove width W2 of the outside crown circumferential groove, a groove width W3 of the inside crown circumferential groove and a groove width W4 of the inside shoulder circumferential groove satisfy the following relation: W1<W2<W3<W4.
