Pneumatic tire
The tread pattern of the pneumatic tire includes an outer main groove, shoulder lug grooves, and vertical sipes. The outer main groove extends in the tire circumferential direction on an outer side of the tire centerline in the tire width direction. The shoulder lug grooves are spaced apart in the tire circumferential direction and provided in the shoulder land portion regions on an outer side of the outer main groove in the tire width direction, extend from the outer side in the tire width direction toward the outer main groove, are closed in a shoulder land portion region. Each of the vertical sipes has a narrower width than each of the shoulder lug grooves, crosses each of the shoulder lug grooves and extends in the tire circumferential direction. Each of the vertical sipes has a depth greater than a groove depth of each of the shoulder lug grooves.
LOW-NOISE TIRE
The tire (10) for a passenger vehicle has an axially central portion and axially lateral portions. The axially central portion and each axially lateral portion satisfies just one of conditions I, II, III: I—the portion comprises no transverse cut (90, 90′), II—the portion comprises N transverse cuts (90, 90′) arranged in such a way that π×OD/N≥40 mm, III—the portion comprises N transverse cuts (90, 90′) arranged in such a way that π×OD/N≤24 mm, condition I or II being satisfied by the axially central portion or by an axially lateral portion, and condition III being satisfied by the axially central portion or by an axially lateral portion.
Pneumatic tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion having an outer shoulder main groove, a crown main groove, and an outer middle land region defined between the outer shoulder main groove and the crown main groove. The outer middle land region is provided with first middle sipes each extending inwardly in a tyre axial direction from the outer shoulder main groove to have an inner end in the outer middle land region and second middle sipes each extending outwardly in the tyre axial direction from the crown main groove to have an outer end in the outer middle land region. The number of the second middle sipes is larger than the number of the first middle sipes.
TIRE WITH SHALLOW GROOVE-BASED TREAD WEAR INDICATOR
A tire including a tread wear indicator is provided. The tire includes a pair of sidewalls, in which each sidewall extends from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread includes a plurality of main circumferential grooves, in which the main circumferential grooves are disposed in and proximate an axial center area of the tread. At least one shallow groove is formed in the tread, and each shallow groove includes a depth relative to the surface of the tread that is less than a depth of each of the main circumferential grooves. A primary tread wear indicator is disposed in at least one of the main circumferential grooves, and a secondary tread wear indicator is disposed in the shallow groove.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire are defined: a first imaginary line VL1 passing through a ground contact surface in a meridian cross section of a tread, a second imaginary line VL2 passing through a bottom of a shoulder groove and parallel to VL1, an intersection point P between VL2 and a surface of a shoulder land outward of a ground contact edge T in a lateral direction, and an equatorial plane CL. Given A as a distance in the lateral direction between P and CL, B as a groove depth of the shoulder groove, and C as a distance in the lateral direction between T and CL, 0.80≤(B+C)/A≤1.15 is satisfied. Given Q as a distance in the lateral direction between CL and an end of a belt ply that has a shorter dimension in the lateral direction, 0.75≤Q/C≤0.95 is satisfied.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a circumferential main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction in a tread surface of a tread portion, wherein when the circumferential main groove is segmented into an outer side in a tire radial direction and an inner side in the tire radial direction by drawing an imaginary segment line parallel with a straight line connecting each of groove opening edges at a position of ½ of a groove depth in a meridian cross-section, a cross-sectional area SU on the outer side in the tire radial direction and a cross-sectional area SD on the inner side in the tire radial direction satisfy the relationship 0.15≤SD/SU≤0.60.
Tire
A tire comprises a tread portion provided with two circumferential grooves disposed one each side of the tire equator and extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction, and a shoulder land region defined on the axially outside of each of the two circumferential grooves. The shoulder land region is provided with oblique grooves inclined with respect to the tire axial direction. The oblique grooves include first oblique grooves having axially inner ends, and second oblique grooves having axially inner ends positioned axially outside the axially inner ends of the first oblique grooves.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion which has, on each side of the tire equator, a first tread edge, a second tread edge and a third tread edge which are occurred under tire loads of 100%, 75% and 50% of a regular tire load, respectively. Between the third tread edge and the tire equator, a circumferentially continuously extending main groove is disposed. A shoulder region between the main groove and the first tread edge is provided with a first inclined groove which extends so as to intersect with the first tread edge, the second tread edge and the third tread edge. The depth of the first inclined groove at the first tread edge is smaller than the depth at the second tread edge and the depth at the third tread edge.

Provided is a pneumatic tire that can be obtained without requiring complicated design and has improved noise performance. On the inner vehicle-mounting side, the circumferential pitch length of the tire has pitch variation comprising at least three pitch lengths and, if the number of pitches is n and the pitch lengths (Pi) are Pi1, Pi2, Pi3, . . . , Pin, in order from the greatest pitch length, the pitch lengths satisfy the relationships Pi1/Pi2≤Pi2/Pi3≤ . . . ≤Pin−1/Pin, and Pi1/Pi2.
