20190329600 · 2019-10-31 · ·

A tire includes a reinforcing rib formed on a groove to prevent irregular wear of a tread and including an auxiliary hidden groove formed in the groove to enhance capabilities of water absorption and drainage of the tire even when the reinforcing rib is formed on the groove. The tire can include a reinforcing rib coupled to a first sidewall, which is one of both sidewalls forming the groove, and protruding toward the groove from the first sidewall, a hidden groove formed in one portion of a second sidewall which is the other of the sidewalls forming the groove, and a remaining tread part protruding toward the groove from a side surface of the hidden groove, the remaining tread part being the other portion of the second sidewall.

TYRE

A tyre includes a tread portion including a tread surface which is provided with grooves. At least one of the grooves includes a widening-width portion at least partially. The widening-width portion includes a first groove portion extending inwardly in a tyre radial direction from the tread surface, and a second groove portion located inwardly in the tyre radial direction of the first groove portion and having a groove width greater than that of the first groove portion.

Pneumatic vehicle tire having a tread profile with profile bands separated by circumferential channels, each delimited outward by an outer surface and toward the channel by a flank forming a channel wall. In a channel base, first and second rubber blocks are formed. The first blocks are attached in the flank of the first band and the second blocks are attached in the flank of the second band. The first and second blocks are arranged one behind the other in an alternating sequence. Each first block extends in the axial direction as far as a position in the axial extent region of two second blocks and ends with a spacing to the flank of the second band. Each second block extends the axial direction as far as a position in the axial extent region of two first blocks and ends with a spacing to the flank of the first band.

A circumferential groove has a groove bottom and a pair of groove walls. Groove bottom includes groove bottom protruding portions protruding radially outwardly from a groove bottom reference surface and having a first groove bottom surface extending radially. The first groove bottom surface includes a first surface portion on one side of a center line of the circumferential groove and a second surface portion positioned on the other side, and an angle between them is 20 to 170. The groove wall includes groove wall protruding portions protruding toward an inside of the circumferential groove from a groove wall reference surface defined as a circumferential surface at a widest groove width position of the circumferential groove and having a first groove wall width surface 12 extending in a tyre width direction and a second groove wall surface having an angle larger than the first groove wall width surface.

TIRE

A groove bottom is formed symmetrically about a center line of a circumferential groove in a tread plan view and includes groove bottom protruding portions protruding radially outwardly from a groove bottom reference surface parallel to a tread surface at a deepest position of a groove depth. Groove bottom protruding portions have a first groove bottom surface extending radially and a second groove bottom surface having an angle larger than the first groove bottom surface. Groove walls include groove wall protruding portions protruding toward an inner side of the circumferential groove from a groove wall reference surface as a circumferential surface at a widest position of a groove width. The groove wall protruding portions each has a first groove wall width surface and a second groove wall surface having an angle larger than the first groove wall width surface.

TIRE

A tire comprises a tread portion provided with at least one longitudinal groove extending in a tire circumferential direction. The longitudinal groove has a groove bottom surface and a pair of groove wall surfaces extending outwardly in a tire radial direction from the groove bottom surface. The groove bottom surface is provided with a groove bottom protruding portion protruding outwardly in the tire radial direction. At least one of the pair of the groove wall surfaces is provided with a groove wall protruding portion protruding toward a side of a groove center of the longitudinal groove.

A pneumatic tire is provided with tread rubber that forms a contact patch; and a belt layer which is disposed toward the interior in a tire radial direction from the tread rubber. A shoulder lug portion is provided with a narrow groove that partitions the shoulder lug portion into a main body portion and into a sacrificial portion. A plurality of concavities are open toward both the contact patch at the main body portion and the groove side face, wherein innermost ends in the tire width direction of the respective concavities are disposed so as to be at the same location in the tire width direction as an outermost end in the tire width direction of the belt layer or are arranged toward the exterior in the tire width direction from the outermost end in the tire width direction of the belt layer.

A retreaded tire includes a base tire and a tread rubber for retread adhered to the base tire. The tread rubber includes a first tread edge and a first shoulder circumferential groove adjacent to the first tread edge and extending continuously in a tire circumferential direction. The first shoulder circumferential groove has a groove surface provided with a plurality of dimples.

Truck tire tread with decoupling void and associated decoupling void sipe

A tread for a heavy truck tire is provided that has a bottom surface (14), a shoulder rib (16), and a sacrificial rib (20) located outboard from the shoulder rib (16) in a width direction. A decoupling void (30) is located between the shoulder rib (16) and the sacrificial rib (20). First decoupling void sipes (32), second decoupling void sipes (100) and third decoupling void sipes (104) are in the shoulder rib (16), and one second decoupling void sipe (100) is between one first decoupling void sipe (32) and one third decoupling void sipe (104).
