TIRE
A tire for which a mounting direction to a vehicle is specified, has a tread portion axially divided into five land portions each provided with sipes. The five land portions are a first shoulder land portion, a first middle land portion, a crown land portion, a second middle land portion, and a second shoulder land portion having ground contacting surface widths W1s, W1m, Wc, W2m and W2s, respectively, which satisfy the following condition: W1s>W1m>Wc>W2m=>W2s under a 50% load state of the tire.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a plurality of main grooves include a shoulder main groove which is arranged between a shoulder land and a first middle land, the first middle land comprises a plurality of first middle sipes which are contiguous with the shoulder main groove, the shoulder main groove comprises a plurality of first openings which are contiguous with the plurality of shoulder slits, a plurality of second openings which are contiguous with the plurality of first middle slits, and a plurality of third openings which are contiguous with the plurality of first middle sipes, and the plurality of first openings are respectively separated in the tire circumferential direction from all of the second openings and all of the third openings.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes the plurality of sipes, when, with regard to each sipe in which the shoulder-side end portion is located closest to a center side among the plurality of sipes, a position of the shoulder-side end portion of the sipe in the tire width direction is taken as a first reference position, and with regard to each sipe in which the center-side end portion is located closest to a shoulder side among the plurality of sipes, a position of the center-side end portion of the sipe in the tire width direction is taken as a second reference position, the plurality of sipes are arranged at regular intervals in the tire circumferential direction, and at other of the first reference position and the second reference position, the plurality of sipes are arranged at irregular intervals in the tire circumferential direction.
TIRE
A tread portion includes a crown land portion including first and second longitudinal edges extending in the tire circumferential direction. The crown land portion is provided with first, second and third crown sipes. The first, second and third crown sipes open at the ground contact surface via respective chamfer portions. The first and third crown sipes extend from the first longitudinal edge and have closed ends in the ground contact surface. The second crown sipes extend from the second longitudinal edge and have closed ends in the ground contact surface. Each first crown sipe has a constant opening width in a longitudinal direction of the sipe. Each second crown sipe has a constant opening width in a longitudinal direction of the sipe. Each third crown sipe has an opening width which decreases continuously from the first longitudinal edge toward the closed end thereof.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is pneumatic tire in which a land portion includes a width direction sipe extending in a tread width direction, the width direction sipe includes, in a cross section along a depth direction, a linear portion extending from an opening of the width direction sipe toward a bottom of the width direction sipe, and a bent portion connected to the linear portion, bending and extending from a connecting portion with the linear portion to the bottom of the width direction sipe, and the linear portion of the width direction sipe has a length in the depth direction increasing as the linear portion extends from a center portion of the width direction sipe in the tread width direction toward an end portion in the tread width direction.
Tire with tread comprising an evolving tread pattern with sipes
A tire having a tread with a plurality of blocks 12 provided with at least one sipe 22 extending from the contact face of said block, and having a width that can vary in the direction of its depth, and known as a complex sipe. The tread has a first layer of material 38 and at least one second layer of material 40 radially on the inside of the first layer, the first layer being formed in a first rubber composition and the second layer being formed in a second rubber composition different from the first composition. The complex sipe 22 and the grooves separating the blocks are formed entirely in the first layer of material 38. Laterally on each side of the complex sipe, the second layer of material 40 extends, when viewed in transverse section in the block, beyond the bottom 30 of the complex sipe in the direction of the contact face of the block.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire. A sipe includes, on each of a leading side edge and a trailing side edge, a chamfered portion and a non-chamfered region in which no other chamfered portion is present. A maximum depth of the chamfered portion is shallower than a maximum depth of the sipe, and a width of the sipe is substantially constant. In a cross-sectional view perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the sipe, at least one chamfered portion has a profile line that projects outwards in the radial direction beyond a chamfer reference line connecting the end portions of the chamfered portion, and a cross-sectional area of a chamfered region that is surrounded by the profile line, the sipe, and a tread contact surface of a tread portion is smaller than a cross-sectional area of a reference region surrounded by the chamfer reference line, the sipe, and the tread contact surface.
Tire
A tire comprises a tread portion comprising at least one circumferentially continuously extending main groove, and a land portion divided by the above-said at least one main groove, wherein the land portion is provided with straight sipes and curved sipes each extending in the tire axial direction.
TIRE
A tire includes a pair of shoulder land regions each provided with a plurality of wavy sipes and first shoulder lateral grooves each having a groove width of 2 mm or less and larger than a width of each of the wavy sipes. The tire further includes a pair of middle land regions and a crown land region each provided with a plurality of non-wavy sipes.
TIRE
A tire having a tread portion that is provided with sipes. Four sipe segments of the sipe include a first sipe segment, a second sipe segment, a third sipe segment, and a fourth sipe segment. At least one of the first sipe segment and the third sipe segment includes, in the cross section orthogonal to the length direction, an oscillated portion which extends in the tire radial direction, while oscillating in the lateral direction orthogonal to the length direction.
