The sipe comprises four sipe segments: a first sipe segment, a second sipe segment, a third sipe segment, and a fourth sipe segment. At least one of the first sipe segment and the third sipe segment comprises an oscillated portion which extends in the radial direction of the tire, while oscillating in a lateral direction orthogonal to the length direction of the sipe in a cross section of the sipe orthogonal to the length direction. Each of the first sipe segment and the third sipe segment comprises the oscillated portion including an oscillating-start portion, and the oscillating-start portion of the first sipe segment is inclined with respect to the tire radial direction in the same direction as the oscillating-start portion of the third sipe segment.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire, a pair of width-oriented sipes that straddle one of circumferential recessed regions are arranged in such fashion as to appear to partially mutually overlap as viewed in a tire width direction, each of the pair of width-oriented sipes comprises a sipe portion at which width is constant, and a notch portion at which width increases toward the exterior in a tire radial direction, the sipe portion is such that at least one end thereof is contiguous with at least one of the circumferential recessed regions in such fashion as to be inclined with respect to the at least one circumferential recessed region; and the notch portion is arranged at a corner at which the sipe portion intersects the at least one circumferential recessed region to form an acute angle therebetween.
Tire with Tread Comprising an Evolving Tread Pattern with Sipes
A tire having a tread with a plurality of blocks 12 provided with at least one sipe 22 extending from the contact face of said block, and having a width that can vary in the direction of its depth, and known as a complex sipe. The tread has a first layer of material 38 and at least one second layer of material 40 radially on the inside of the first layer, the first layer being formed in a first rubber composition and the second layer being formed in a second rubber composition different from the first composition. The complex sipe 22 and the grooves separating the blocks are formed entirely in the first layer of material 38. Laterally on each side of the complex sipe, the second layer of material 40 extends, when viewed in transverse section in the block, beyond the bottom 30 of the complex sipe in the direction of the contact face of the block.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a block (41) formed by being partitioned by a main groove (15) and lateral grooves (20 and 25), and a block traversing sipe (45) which is a sipe longitudinally traversing the block (41), in which the block traversing sipe (45) has a zigzag shape that is constituted by a plurality of longitudinal sipe portions (42) extending in a circumferential direction of the tire, and a lateral sipe portion (43) extending in a tire width direction and connecting end portions of two longitudinal sipe portions (42), and a longitudinal sipe portion (42) closer to a kick-out side of the block (41) has a narrower width.
Pneumatic Tire
Each sipe wall surface of a sipe in a tread portion of a pneumatic tire includes, along a sipe depth direction, multiple ridge portions and at least one valley portion bending like waves. Where viewed along the sipe depth direction, a recess depth of the valley portion with respect to the ridge portion on one wall surface varies depending on a position in the extension direction, the valley portion extends from a position at which the recess depth is maximized toward a position at which the recess depth is minimized, and the recess depth decreases as the valley portion extends from the side of the maximum-depth valley portion toward the maximum ridge portion. The sipe is provided in at least one of a first half-tread region on a first side or a second half-tread region on a second side in a tire width direction.
TIRE
The tire has a tread portion axially divided into two shoulder land regions, two middle land regions and one crown land region by two shoulder circumferential grooves and two crown circumferential grooves. The middle land regions are each provided with a single longitudinal sipe, and first and second middle transverse grooves extending from the adjacent shoulder circumferential groove and crown circumferential groove, and terminated without being connected to the longitudinal sipe. The shoulder land regions are each provided with shoulder transverse grooves extending from tread edges and terminated within the respective shoulder land regions.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is pneumatic tire in which a land portion includes a width direction sipe extending in a tread width direction, the width direction sipe includes, in a cross section along a depth direction, a linear portion extending from an opening of the width direction sipe toward a bottom of the width direction sipe, and a bent portion connected to the linear portion, bending and extending from a connecting portion with the linear portion to the bottom of the width direction sipe, and the linear portion of the width direction sipe has a length in the depth direction increasing as the linear portion extends from a center portion of the width direction sipe in the tread width direction toward an end portion in the tread width direction.
Pneumatic tire
The pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion 2 provided with first sipes 25 and second sipes 26 and having a first tread half portion 21 and a second tread half portion 22. The first sipes 25 are smoothly continued from a crown land region 10 in the second tread half portion 22 to a shoulder land region 13 in the first tread half portion 21 through a crown main groove 3 and a shoulder main groove 5. The second sipes 26 extend from the crown land region 10 in the second tread half portion 22 toward a second tread edge Te2.
TIRE
A tire has a tread portion having a second middle land region which is provided with middle lateral grooves and circumferentially divided into middle blocks. Each middle block is provided with two first middle sipes extending from a second shoulder circumferential groove, and one second middle sipe disposed between the two first middle sipes. Each first middle sipe extends in a wavy manner in its depth direction. The second middle sipe extends straight in its depth direction. The second middle sipe extends from the second shoulder circumferential groove and is terminated within the second middle land region.
Tire
A tire includes a tread portion including a first land portion defined between circumferentially extending first and second edges. The first land portion is provided with first and second lateral grooves respectively extending from the first and second edges and terminating within the first land portion and a circumferentially extending first longitudinal narrow groove in communication with the first and second lateral grooves.
