The first annular portion includes two annular grooves extending along respective zig-zag paths. Each of the two annular grooves is defined by a plurality of first parts inclined on one side with respect to a reference plane orthogonal to an equatorial plane of the tyre and by a plurality of second parts inclined with respect to the reference plane on the opposite side to the first parts. Each of the second parts is circumferentially interposed between two respective first parts. Each of the first parts is connected to a respective circumferential channel by a respective first transversal groove arranged at an intermediate portion of the first part and by a respective second transversal groove arranged at an end of the first part.

A pneumatic tire includes a pair of circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a pair of shoulder land portions and a single center land portion defined and formed by the circumferential main grooves. In addition, the center land portion includes a plurality of center narrow shallow grooves extending through the center land portion in a tire width direction. A groove depth H21 of the center narrow shallow groove is in a range 0.025H21/Hg0.150 with respect to a maximum groove depth Hg of the circumferential main groove.

A tire 2 includes a tread 4. The tread 4 includes a plurality of land portions 16 separated by a circumferential main groove 10. At least one of the land portions 16 includes a first narrow land portion 28a and a second narrow land portion 28b separated by a circumferential sub groove 26. A top 32 of the first narrow land portion 28a includes a serration 46 having irregularities and a land 48 having no irregularities. The serration 46 is located between a width center of the first narrow land portion 28a and a first edge 30a of the first narrow land portion 28a. The serration 46 includes a plurality of ridges 50. A narrow shallow groove 56 is located between the two adjacent ridges 50 of the plurality of ridges 50.

In order to reduce noise energy, an embodiment provides a noise-reducing tire including lateral grooves 30 formed in the lateral direction from the longitudinal grooves 20 towards the sidewall 5, the lateral grooves 30 widening in width towards the sidewall 5.

A pneumatic tire in which a surface of a block has a plurality of sipes and a plurality of shallow grooves that extend in mutually opposite directions in the tire width direction, relative to one direction along the tire circumferential direction, depth of the shallow grooves is less than depth of the sipes, an inclination angle 1 of the sipes relative to the tire circumferential direction is greater than 0 and less than 90, an inclination angle 2 of the shallow grooves relative to the tire circumferential direction is greater than 0 and less than 90, and magnitude of a difference between the inclination angle 1 and the inclination angle 2 is 30 or less.
